ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

To all the kopites in this thread: I apologise for making fun of your team instead of giving them a tongue bath like the the media do every day. We're such awful people for making fun of our rivals, a behaviour of which Liverpool fans are not remotely guilty. Instead we should all be talking about how much we want to shag Jurgen Klopp and how Salah is better than Modric, Kane, Ronaldo and Pele combined. YNWA etc.

In one moment you have seen why Liverpool will not win the league again. That goalkeeper will let them down when they need him most, just as I correctly predicted of Karius. Fear not.

Think the only way they'll be undone this season is via a Champions League hangover or something. They've got the squad and the game management to go with it now, which is scary.

At this stage of the season points are irrelevant. I expect them to win today (United beat this Leicester team) but it's clear they haven't solved their achilles heel in defence, and that will rot away at the confidence. The lads had more cockups than saves.

Completely disagree and I imagine most managers would as well. The 4 games before the international break are always all about picking up points as you’re well aware that your season is going to get disrupted once all the players go off for internationals again. This is also on the back of a shortened pre season following a World Cup summer. The fact is that if the goalie sticks that ball in row Z they’d have four wins with four clean sheets without even playing that well.

It’s all redundant though. City are too good long term and it’s only just September. The next few months when teams are playing twice a week will reveal the serious football sides in the league and then things will start to take shape properly.

They don't seem to be pressing much as they usually do,could be why they are defensively solid now.

Not sure if the reduction in that pressing game is something to do post world cup fitness issues or a change in direction now Buvac isn't there.

Right now they are quite boring by Klopp standards, less exciting going forward and stronger at the back.

They deffo have a few more gears attacking wise in them.

Their fans doing ‘oooooh you’re [Poor language removed], aaaahh’ to Schmeichel on his goal kicks.

Nothing surprises me anymore with these.
