Is that the new £50 million training ground?

How much is their debt and is it more than their estimated £500 million turnover,if not then the debt is serviceable as they are printing money now with being a CL club just like the other debt ridden clubs like Juve Barca Real United Spurs who all have debt each of £300 million plus.

On the Salah goal that won the vote i think his Spurs goal was better than the derby one.
I can't remember that one. You've got a good memory.

It didn't even win MOTD goal of the month ! James Milner has tweeted Congratulations Mo Salah on your 7th best goal of the season winning FIFA'S Goal of the Season !!!

United as debt is actually less than Liverpool’s now believe it or not. Uniteda debt was only because the glazers loaded the dwbt onto the club, not because they were unprofitable. Unlike Liverpool. Unfortunately Liverpool’s debt has been growing year on year, due to an out of control wage bill and no trophies - don’t know if you know but despite all the money spent they’ve only won one league cup in well over a decade!

Difference with barvcwlona and United is that they don’t be have to keep selling their best players. In fact they buy liverpools!

With salahs increase in salary resulting in a decrease in performance he’s taken away their best chance of tasing revenue next summer. Further complicat d by the fact you can be assured that mane and firmino s agents will be demanding wage parity.

There’s already talk of a falling out, this could get very messy indeed. A shame, as all that money should really produce a few league titles, no trophies at all? You’ve got to feel sorry for them, especially how excited they’d get every summer.

Salah's goal there wouldn't even get goal of the day on your average motd2. How did it ever get nominated?

He had to win something. He turned up and sat on the front row in a suit to two events and won nada. They had to throw him a bone in an online poll. The uncomfortable truth is that the second Bale’s overhead kick went in the entirety of Salah’s ‘achievements’ that season were irrelevant. Why does a bloke who finished 4th in the league deserve awards over players who won multiple trophies, the champions league, or performed at the latter stages of the World Cup? He doesn’t. Hence the pity prize they set up for him.

Financial Times article from July 16 this year has the RS debt at £67 million.

United's is £301 million,it went up 25% in 2017 from a quick google search.

Like i said repeatedly on here once you hit the £450 million plus barrier for turnover, debt is nothing as clubs with those massive turnovers are printing money, from CL revenues and those lucrative pre season tours abroad from appearance fees, ticket sales and merchandise plus commercial revenues and domestic tv money.

Pity prize is one thing, but at a stroke, they have destroyed the gravitas that the Puskas award might ever carry. Stupid, stupid stupid!

Exactly mate - It doesn't mean a thing anymore. Granted it was a tidy finish (and only tidy) but put that against an overhead when the cross has been deflected, from 18 yards out, in a Champions League Final.

The Puskas Award has become a mockery in one fail swoop.

Agreed. As tidy as Lacazette's but possibly less tidy than Zaha's last week.
