ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

They sold one of the best attacking midfielders in the world and replaced him with yet another midfielder who doesn’t score and a utility RB who can’t even make the team yet, but spent the summer telling anyone who would listen that they’d had the best window. Keita and Fabinho will both now be under the spotlight due to Milner’s injury and it will be time for them to perform. It’s of no surprise whatsoever though that they lost any semblance of control in the City game once Milner hobbled off. Keita looked like one of those players in a celebrity charity match running round loads but not doing anything useful. You can get away with that in the German league but not here.

Klopp gets a lot of praise for moving this Liverpool side forward but under Rodgers at their peak he had a line up of Gerrard Henderson Coutinho Sterling Suarez Sturridge. No one can objectively say that even with the eye watering amounts spent that Klopp has improved on that in an attacking sense. His attacking buys have been poor given the money he’s had. 6 transfer windows and his only successful attacking buys have been Mane and Salah. Any other top manager gets the boot for that sort of hit rate. Even Rodgers managed to bring in Coutinho Sturridge and Firmino in less time than that. The midfield recruitment of Wijnaldum Keita Fabinho Grujic is looking patchy too when you consider he has been reliant on Milner Henderson Lallana Can Coutinho for most of his time there (all Rodgers buys)
I'd also throw Lallana into the names of players that Rodgers bought who are superior to the players Klopp has bought for massively inflated prices. Coutinho was THE jewel in the crown at Liverpool, but Lallana before he got his injuries was not far behind in terms of creativity and knitting together midfield and attack.

Klopp also looked incredibly weak allowing Fekir to be torn out of his hands by the club he works for. I'm sure he's bearing a massive grudge against them over that.

When you show these pictures to Reds they will try and defend it by saying that all teams eccentric supporters but I am sorry but in nearly 50 years of watching Everton I have never once seen anything like that.
Do these people not have wives , girlfriends or boyfriends that can reign them in?
If I went to the match dressed like that my misses would have changed the locks when I got home.

we do have a guy that goes to every game in just a pair of Speedo's tbf....but then that's for charity I guess not through actual choice

I just got tickets for PSG v Liverpool (I work in Paris). Can't wait to see Cavani et al rip them apart

Ha ...imagine their dejected gobs when you pass them by outside the Parc des Princes gently humming Z Cars. Used to love going over to Paris. My brother worked there a couple of years in the 90s - his flat on Quai de l'Horloge by Pont Neuf overlooked The Seine'. Happy Days.

What a great idea! I should drink with the RS fans beforehand, giving the impression that I'm one of them, then unzip my coat to reveal a PSG shirt then pull out the Everton flag.

Be aware however, that they may subsequently pelt you with bottles, bricks and fireworks ...eventually braining you with a loose slab of paving.
