ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

I neither hate klopp or hate the fact they have him. I doubt anybody else does either. I find their delusional outlook amusing.

He doesn't make enemies (unlike SAF, Mourinho et al.. and, relating to us, Benitez and Pardew come to mind). He at least defends his own (the least you'd expect) and, mostly keeps it to that - if he does rage it's about decisions mostly not rivalries (like Man Utd for example). To listen to him when he meets fans he's ok in that respect. Plus of course he loves football, that's obvious. He also is a decent coach but probably needs to adapt a bit more as burnout seems to hit his sides intermittently. Just as well because, when they get going, BD and the RS have, at times, been very good.

Oh yes, and when Fenway dump him the RS rage will be glorious to beyond

I can't stand Klopp, the gurning, showboating cocktrumpet. 'Decent fella'? Not on my watch...

As for people still talking about hating Pardew - not me. The man scored the goal to get the RS knocked out of the FA cup semi final by Palace, the same team the flat-track bullies had beaten 9-0 at the Pit the same season if I remember correctly, to much smug mirth. He'll always be a hero to me. He could feed my dog into a wood-chipper and I'd only be mildly irritated...

Just

WOW

It’s also zero surprise that one of England’s most clinical attacking performances came once that gurning yarddog Henderson was taken out of the team. He has never been good enough for international football.
He's a decent premier league footballer. Have that quality of player in your team and you will be knocking on the door of the top 6. Put in some quality around that type of player and they won't drag you down too much and you could get top 4. But if you have a team like City's which is absolutely full of top quality players and the odd one which is world class, then it's not good enough to win the league and you will come a cropper against a top notch European outfit in the Champions or Europa League.

But you are spot on when you point out that he isn't good enough in an international midfield if you want to compete with the best. But it's not his fault that he's not had enough competition for his berth in the international set up.

Just had a decko at Rawks Drift for a laugh.... awash with GOT quotes. The irony of them quoting our posts containing stats. This one really made me laugh though ...an absolutely perfect cameo of vintage RS romanticised delusion. lollollol

I don't know why they don't like Klopp...

Like everyone else, they absolutely love Klopp. Who couldn't.
They just hate the fact we have him.

Haha I'm frustrated enough that we don't win things, It'd be even worse if I kept getting my hopes up as we got to a final only to realise our manager had no clue what to do and kept bottling them.

I think for a lot of them by hate they mean "honestly assess'. He's a master of failure but seems a likeable decent fella who plays attacking football.

Oh and he's still won less than Ronald Koeman. It does make me laugh that there's still reds on RAWK mocking me for pointing that out, despite the fact we sacked Koeman around a year into his tenureship and he's still won more in his career than Klopp. Their inability to process information remains astounding and amusing.

But yes, I am desperately jealous of Klopp and this jealousy prevents me from saying a good word about a general nice guy who comes across well.

Oh dear, you do realise they're going to snip that last paragraph out out of context now and it'll be held against you for the rest of your life haha

They'll probably (and I regret writing this) put it as their heading for their equivalent anti-Everton thread. I haven't been to Rawk for a long time, because I soon realised that there was no point reading their prattle. It's much better laughing at them on this thread. Or when you see bizarrely constructed report in the media supporting their non-existent claims to success. What a very, very weird bunch.

Mane injured?

All smoke and mirrors mate.

Klopp was very vocal about how stupid these international gamaes are and how he feels it is ruining how his team play because these international games are "ruining" his players energy, probably followed by a weird laugh and a BOOM!

Van Dijk - recovering form a rib injury, misses holland game (will be fine for huddersfield)
Salah - suspecfully went on in the FINAL minute of eygpts game, so pretty much played 1 full game but to injured to play in the 2nd (will be fine for huddersfield)
Mane - broke his thumb (misses game for Sudan but will be fine for huddersfield
Henderson - iffy booking in the last game got him a questionible suspension (will paly v huddersfield)
Allison & Firmino - will only take part in 1 game

Just goes to show, moaning helps get your players rested
