FFS, I just tuned into Radio Mersyside and heard "a concerned Kopite" warbling on for 5 to 10 minutes to Roger Philips. His target's were Tommy Fleetwood, the European Masters Tour scheduling committee and Hillside golf course. The crime: just now been announced that Fleetwood/Hillside have secured the British Masters for May next year. (A coup for the area apparently, not being a golf fan). The last day of the tournament is on the last day of the season though. The Kopite was complaining that Liverpool played Wolves on that day for a title decider or coronation and that the organisers should have knew this. "Millions of people will be pouring into the City of Liverpool", he said. "That's going to shut down the transport system and stretch M'side police to breaking point. Why cant Hillside move it, Roger'? Do these people ever do joined up thinking, Roger?"

Un-'kin-believable.

The long distance visitors for the golf won't get a look in as the airport will be full of RS as usual.

Theyre never short of something to whinge about.... why doesn't he moan to LFC instead of Phillips (who doesn't even like football). We're playing Arsenal at Goodison on 6th April....Grand National Day. That could very well change if televised, but Saturday home games being switched to a Friday night (because of the National) stopped a few years ago. Don't let that get in the way of a cryin' arse though...quick....alert the Special Dispensation Committee.

The expectation they'll be securing/fighting it out for the title that day is astounding. Roger Philips should have just said "Tell me, how long has it been since Liverpool actually won the title? Exactly. Now GTF you lunatic".

Heard this at lunch time! Couldn't believe what I was listening to!

Apparently it's going to be such a special day for RS fans and the cheek that the Master's final day at Hillside will clash with it!

I honestly thought it must have been a blue on a windup!

He was so confident that the RS will be picking up the title that game.

And he was giving the impression that the "millions" coming into the city that day were mainly only coming to watch the RS! That means at least 950000 won't have tickets!

He was defo genuine. The thing that got me was that Roger Phillips didn't just send him packing. It underlines that the local media are fully on board with their delusions.

Amazing though to hear the Kopite spanners preparing for a title party in 8 months time. That has to be a record even for them.
