Rarely visit this thread let alone post in it but it has to be asked what planet are these beauts on?

Apparently we're all desperate to see us lose to Chelsea on Sunday because we want to help out one Liverpool's title 'rivals'.

They are throwing similar accusations at Man Utd fans too as they play City on the same day.

No matter what's going on in football they always have to try and turn it into all about them.

The ones I’ve heard mouthing off has been about how Barkley will be kissing his badge in front of us. The plebs not realising that Chelsea beating us would actually be a poor result for them.

I’m not sure why there’s such certainty from the media that Liverpool are topping their group. Even if they beat Red Star, if they lose to PSG in Paris then it would probably come down to the final game. If they don’t win tonight then pressure is on. This group is far from a done deal for them yet.

Oh yes, I can't wait to see us getting battered with a Barkley hat trick. Woo hoo. :dodgy:

I want us to win. I don't care who we're playing.

I've always thought that as well, but when we played city at home around crystanbul time and Barkley scored.... After the initial celebrating a horrible feeling of dread came over me. I could only imagine it was akin to walking into a room with Rolf, Fred the weatherman and Jimmy Saville grinning at you. The thought of the babbling imbeciles in work and the pubs , the endless poetry, books, plays and films churned out with deplorable mantras, "we dared to dream", "we went again"....
The celebratory tour closing most of the city as the police already struggled to keep track of the broken curfews, ambulance smashing,, police van dancers whilst ankle tags would be going off everywhere like a 90's rave.
Public calls for statues of Stevie Me, the cannibal and tranny Rodgers, whilst the RAWK mafia would churn out 2000 word diatribes to describe a feeling that could be summed up in one sentence, pretty much like this....
But then city scored and as guilty as I felt a flow of relief shot over me, phew.... Never thought I'd of felt that ever :(:(

Bit of a different scenario mate to Kopites going 5 clear with about 3 games to go than them 2 behind a side with 27 games left...

Was that when he also said their back 4 could be the best Liverpool defence ever?

Seriously btw. That was the case he was trying to build.
Yep he did it was embarrassing listening to it i turned it off when he said they had always been blessed with world class centre backs such as Carragher and Thompson
