ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Seriously though, if Shaqiri can't go because of his heritage (and stupidly having a go at the Serbs and not rising above it) it's a bad thing. I know he was a bell doing his gestures whilst playing for Switzerland, but if that means you can't go play in a competition like anyone else then that is a very poor state of affairs. Sure, give him absolute dogs abuse from the stands, but never should he be in physical threat or danger because of it.

Or is it all a melodramatic act by the rs and their victimhood?

I believe this question answers itself.
Any normal club would've said he'd picked up an injury or had a stomach bug.
Always the 'kin victims eh?

I'll post something more in depth on this later. But essentially you are spot on (again) that there is an angst going through their fanbase now. Nowhere near as much cockiness, we are well into the next stage of bluster.

The evidence is before everyone's eyes. Klopp is a front runner who has suffered a dip every season. They have not got out in front this season. The tank is emptying and they are in a dangerous rut re performances.

The next 2 games will paper over cracks, but look at that run from Watford away to Brighton away. At a time when they generally fall away a bit. They have not got ahead anywhere near enough.

I did love that post as well, for the "why is there always one team just that bit better than us, it's not fair" bla bla. They finished 4th. And one of the teams who finished above them were about 25 points ahead of them. It wasn't a Herculean effort thwarted by a single team. They were as far away from the title as we were under Moyes and (particularly) Martinez.

I think they are one big result away from wheels coming off. If Mourinho beats them that could really be a decisive shift on their fan base.

I honestly dont detect any satisfaction from that lot now over their unbeaten start. Beyond it getting them the right to say they're in the race to win the title there's a joylessness about it for them. They know the roof will fall in sooner or later. I'd also say their playing style is causing a lot of doubts and even concern.

I said last night it's all primed to go off over there. They've boxed themselves and, therefore, the team, into a corner that only winning the title is acceptable. When it bcomes appararent they wont, there'll be casualties. Klopp - who only really got control of Liverpool's base with the CL run from February last season - is not as as universally liked by Kopites as most people seem to think.

They are simply miles off getting clear of the chasing pack and City. They need another 3/4 quality players because Klopp wasted the summer transfer cash pretty much.

It's going to get ugly at that club.

Tonight's Red Echo...Klopp happy, as United beat City, and title head's toward's Analfield!!!!!

Also article blaming Everton for all of Kirkby's socio-economic problems.

LOL. They're making the place so much worse at the minute.

Closure of 4/5 main roads for roadworks + the Reds closing two roads for their own gain = absolute nightmare at the minute.

I hate the fact that they will soon by my neighbour and I will have to see that badge from my front door every morning.
