Big clubs don’t hate us as we’ve not been perceived as a threat

Little clubs generally hate another little club they fell out with when they were in the Third Division North in 1948
Just checking to see when the rs were in the Third Division North and if that date fits ...

Just checked. They only won the Alternative Third Division North that year, even after Lawrenson, who had just recently retired from association football, predicted on the BBC wireless that they would go unconquered throughout the land that year.

That Fulham game, who are truly awful currently has done little to dispel any myths. If they repeated that performance against almost any one of the next 8-9 they would drop points and quite possibly lose. I have my doubts had a fairly legitimate goal stood they'd have fought their way back, though we will never know.

This upcoming period is a brutal one for me. I have said the pace will slow during this period, so we will see if I am proved right (again). Watford away is not easy and it doesn't get much easier after that (the derby is sandwiched between 2 big European ties). I could even see United getting a result against them, They will need to improve very quickly on recent displays and I am doubtful they will be able too. It's not like they have any big signing ready to come in. Henderson will likely make a difference but Keita I think may even weaken them further.

Lets wait and see how the next few weeks pan out. They have to beat Watford if they hope to finish in the top 2/3 yet I have a feeling they may slip up.

Key stretch. Watford Bournemouth Burnley away. Us and United at home. PSG Napoli in the CL. Realistically they need to win all of the prem ones and one of the CL ones to stay alive in both. They’ve laboured through a relatively easy prem period of Huddersfield Cardiff and Fulham. They’re the three worst sides in the league. If they win all of the above games then they’ll be smack in the race but drop points in any and City will be even further ahead as they’ve just come through one of the hardest stretches of their season unscathed.

Not a chance they'll win all them games. They're not as good as they're made out to be, I think they were better under shiny face

This does not slip!!!

Salad is still scoring goals but, whereas last season every time he hit the ball towards goal it went in, this season he is missing the target in spades. Carry on Mo, you're not doing a grand job lol.
The thing is he is scoring against crap teams.

So it's media love / kopites delusion that he is right back to where he was when unless it's a jarg European team or a relegation battler he isn't scoring anymore .

He was a one hit wonder as a player and certainly not the world class winger that he was made out to be .
