ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Someone with a memory should compile a list of players who have been outrageous cheats for them, versus those who they've claimed cheat against the Rs. I'll start, but I haven't a great memory.

Allegedly "cheat" against:
Ramos
Neymar

Definitely persistently cheat for:
Gerrard
Suarez
Clattenberg
McManaman
Neal
Souness
Aldridge

.....honest I know there are more, but have always had a problem with names.... Come on and help out.

Stéphane Henchoz - Mr handball

Stéphane Henchoz - Mr handball

Are you sure that if you watch the video of that again really really slowly that actually the other guy didn’t handball it and Henchoz was in fact the victim of the incident? A bit like when Lovren hacked down Lamela for a pen but over time as the laws of physics altered and we entered a parallel universe Lamela actually kicked Lovren. Apparently.

I’ll never get over Gerrard’s dive v Sheffield United. The lad went to boot him but actually didn’t make any contact and Gerrard dived for the pen. On match of the day they said he deserved a pen for ‘intent to foul’ and therefore it wasn’t a dive. Only pen I’ve ever seen given for intent to foul. That was when I realised that they’ll literally spin anything to get their own way. Offended by everything ashamed of nothing.

Hate Gerard, remember when he dived against Chelsea...... and, haha no that was a slip wasn't it. :celebrate::celebrate:

"Is Klopps plan to get to about Feb when champs lge resumes & then unleash the all action pressing running game we are familiar with, is the change in style permanent or is he saving legs for a blast at the run in?"

Another beauty from an online forum

I have to say, in terms of support, the liverpool fans were a disgrace last night. Given what was at stake you'd have expected them to be in the ground well before kick off, scarfs aloft and singing their hearts out (just like the "magical" anfield nights). Throughout the game you'd expect a constant noise to urge the team on. They win and they are through.

What happened? Barely in their seats 10 mins before kickoff, still people filtering in at kick off, barely any signing and when they did it lasted hardly 30 seconds. Didn't do their scarf thing, didn't at any time sing YNWA, apart from the penalty they barely pushed the team on. Pathetic. Their fans and great support are a myth based on a few televised matches on home European nights. They deserve to go out. When Napoli came to PSG they helped generate the best atmosphere I've ever witnessed live and no doubt it helped the team. I hope they drop to the EL and enjoy random eastern European cities
You can’t really blame the Liverpool fans on that , you have to blame the Paris authorities.

I’ve been to Paris a few times and there is nowhere that I seen to dock a longboat sonthe fans don’t travel

"Last season we blitzed opponents in a style that was the envy of Europe ... we are so far from that this season we do not even gengen press anymore to that standard. We have adapted our style to the PL in a manner that will "beat the weaker teams" and it has worked a treat. But for Europe these teams are the cream of the crop and Napoli worry me. The way they outpressed us away from home shows they are capable of it.

We used to bully teams in our midfield 3 and rarely came out second best when it came to big games, now we have a strange air about us in the middle. suddenly Hendo looks leggy, Gini looks off the pace when not played in central role and Milner doesn't have it for 90.

We need a ball playing midfielder that can separate a defence with a pass. Veratti was excellent at it last night and also a dirty so and so - perfect! But these players are hard to find especially with City buying them all up - they have KDB/Silva/Bernardo and were trying to buy Jorginho!!! "
Now it's all Citeh's fault
