Liverpool effectively shot themselves through both feet there tonight.

The smart move would have been to crash out of the CL and concentrate all resources on the PL.

They may have qualified, but they'll be seen off in either the last 16 or last 8. Their team is half the quality of last season's team.

I make City big favourites now for the PL.
