ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

The difference between the media adulation if Klopp won the europa and the league cup against when they classed the season Mourinho did that as a failure.
Same in the CL group stage this season: Mourinho has United qualified with a game to spare; Klopp has a nailbiting last game to qualify and they do so by the slimmest of margins. Media: "WTF has Jose done? He's handed them a runners up spot" / "Another glorious night at Anfield as Jurgen leads Kop heroes into KO stages".

Bumped into Andy from Weston Super Mare, my TNT courier today, he's a typical red, made a bee line for me as soon as he saw me shouting "walk on.." accross the road. It was the first time I had seen him since the derby. He is a typical RS, has been about 3 times in his life and don't make a squeak if they lose but all over it when they win.No class at all.

I can't wait to rub his nose in Man CIty glory later this season, They never learn do they.

@davek
How far have United fallen that I cant even dispute most of the team.

I would probably stick Lukaku up top instead of ladyboy and maybe Matic instead of Milner, but other than that, not much else.

The thing I find weird in what MCNulty says about that combined 11 is This.

“I've gone for that man for all seasons James Milner as the pivot while combining two very talented players in Naby Keita and Paul Pogba ahead of him. Neither have been at their best this season but I'd back them to flourish in this team.”

That 11 McNulty picks only has 2 Man U players in it, and one of them is a goalie, yet he says Keita hasn’t been at his best this season, but would flourish in the 11 he has chosen. FFS, apart from Pogba it’s the RS team, so he’s been poor for the RS, but would flourish in the 11 he’s picked that contains (apart from 1 outfield player in Pogba) all RS players!

by that logic why aren't lukaku and sanchez there? They haven't been at their best either, but are better players than some of those chosen. Sanchez better than mane and lukaku better than firmino, respective past clubs show that.

He’s clearly made an error because surely the ball hitting Alisson when he knew nothing about it now makes him a better keeper than the years of top goalkeeping De Gea has provided in the premier league.

As good as Alisson is, I'm very happy with Ederson as are most City fans. His distribution is the best in the league, despite his relatively poor English, he commands his box well, inspires confidence in his defence and is as cool as a cucumber when under pressure. As for his shot stopping, he's been mostly good although he's made very few errors. Truth is nobody knows how good Ederson is at shot stopping as he hasn't had to make too many. A very important player for us whose sweeper keeper abilities suit our style better than anyone and that includes Alisson IMO.

We have a song you going on Saturday will hear. To she's electric/Oasis.

"He's Brazilian, he only cost 30 million, we think he's f****n' brilliant, he's Ederson"...
Tbf you have more right to sing that song than we do, given that Oasis are City fans.

It must be weird for them seeing how successful City are, considering that City were utter gash back when Oasis got big and their star player was from Georgia.

ETA: where's Mata?

Jose messing with Klopp's head.

"Mourinho goes up against Jurgen Klopp on Sunday. Mourinho has won three trophies at United. Klopp has not won any at Liverpool. Jose has said "trophies matter" when asked about the issue. "I don't know, depends on the way you approach it, I think trophies matter, it matters, especially when you have the potential to fight for trophies and especially when you clearly say the objective is to win the trophy," Mourinho said.
Mourinho and Klopp touchline fight, anyone?
