ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

As good as Alisson is, I'm very happy with Ederson as are most City fans. His distribution is the best in the league, despite his relatively poor English, he commands his box well, inspires confidence in his defence and is as cool as a cucumber when under pressure. As for his shot stopping, he's been mostly good although he's made very few errors. Truth is nobody knows how good Ederson is at shot stopping as he hasn't had to make too many. A very important player for us whose sweeper keeper abilities suit our style better than anyone and that includes Alisson IMO.

We have a song you going on Saturday will hear. To she's electric/Oasis.

"He's Brazilian, he only cost 30 million, we think he's f****n' brilliant, he's Ederson"...
Have you heard our Richarlison song?

Them horrible gets can draw any of the teams in bold. So obviously they'll get Porto, then Schalke will spawn their way into the next round and they'll draw them next. Then Barca will get them in the semis only to bottle it in the return leg at Anfield and once again they'll find themselves in the final.

Give them Juventus next round please. For Spurs, they can have PSG please, or even Barca who will demolish them with any team that isn't their C team like the last game. Give City the easiest team as to help them maintain a good challenge for the domestic league title.

@davek

How far have United fallen that I cant even dispute most of the team.

I would probably stick Lukaku up top instead of ladyboy and maybe Matic instead of Milner, but other than that, not much else.

I wouldn't even include Pogba tbh, the overrated pretender. The RS full backs get in their by default as united don't even have an actual full back in their squad except that fat one that's always injured.

There's no way on earth Keita gets in there though. Sanchez would if he hadn't turned utter gash since he went there.

Either you're winding us up, or you haven't watched us as that's the same as our Richarlison song.

Agree on Allison, saw a tweet the other day where it was like "just seen Allison in maccies, he got a big mac, can't believe it, walked straight in and got it, worth easily double now" - in reference to the media orgasm to him saving a shot that was whacked right at him.

I want them to get thru the round of 16 after extra time and maybe even penalties. Then in the quarter finals I want them to get absolutely dry bummed this should hopefully put more miles in the legs but absolutely destroy confidence!

Porto isn't quite the gimme people seem to think.

Won all but 2 games this season and all of their CL games. Did get battered by the RS last season like but won't be the same this year.

That said, just draw them with Barcelona please. Suarez dive to win in the last minute to get the match winning penalty would be ideal.

Jose messing with Klopp's head.

"Mourinho goes up against Jurgen Klopp on Sunday. Mourinho has won three trophies at United. Klopp has not won any at Liverpool. Jose has said "trophies matter" when asked about the issue. "I don't know, depends on the way you approach it, I think trophies matter, it matters, especially when you have the potential to fight for trophies and especially when you clearly say the objective is to win the trophy," Mourinho said.

The difference between the media adulation if Klopp won the europa and the league cup against when they classed the season Mourinho did that as a failure.
