ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Bayern aren't as bad as everyone saying. They did win the league last year and topped their CL group.

Three defeats in the league but purely by looking at stats they weren't outclassed.

Had 25 shots to Hertas 6.
70% possession.
Over double the passes.

Munchinggladback had 3 shots on target which all went in.

Even Dortmund needed a penalty.

They should have too much for the loveables.

Keep it tight at the pit, the RS get desperate and they get hit on the counter.
0-1.

Early goal in Munich to put the tip to bed.

They seem to have a lot of shots in every game. Allison seems a bit flaky, put him under pressure and he could fold.

Or the mutants win easily and get the winner of Roma/Porto.

Not even saying this cos I'm massively bitter but I've genuinely not been impressed with a single performance by them.
City are better in every department. Their luck HAS to run out soon.

Would Klopp even take the job ? I get the impression he's very happy at Liverpool.

He would’ve done a season or two ago, it was always his dream job and he made no secret of it when he left Dortmund. But it depends what happens this season really.

The only worse team they could've got is Porto imo.

I know it's all about opinions, but Bayern won 4 of their group games, and drew the other 2.

By their standards (even though they are still 3rd) they are struggling a bit in their domestic league, but they are still a boss side, and you could say the same about Real Madrid, 4th in La Liga and struggling, and lost 2 of their champs league group games, so would Madrid have been a lucky draw?

The thing is, Bayern are poor domestically due to their own high standards, they are not a poor side at all.

The important thing is they have a lot of European experience and players who know how to win the big games. If they turn it on then they should win fairly comfortably but it is probably going to be a tight game in both legs.

Plus, the RS have been very poor away in Europe so if that form continues that should make it difficult for them, especially if Bayern score at the pit.
