ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

As Any horse racing statistician will tell you, the last 4 teams is not really much of a statistic when the league has been contested for about 125 years. If it was the last 12 or 15 in a row, then you'd have a meaningful statistic.
ARMA and ARMAX models would suggest not. But that's getting into Aternative Premier League and (I believe the rs term was) advanced stat metrics.

City top at Christmas, and end of season. The double decker celebration bus parked in a barn somewhere gathers yet more dust...

Some RS bloke phoning Radio Sport (NZ) this morning was talking about how made up he was over the Man U result and how it brought a tear to his eye. The presenter asked him whether he was wearing his Liverpool gear whilst watching it and then asked "what is it with you Liverpool supporters and your wearing of full playing kits?"
Made me laugh out loud

I think a few on here are a bit mixed up. It's about "Why people in Liverpool are so angry at "Tory" chants aimed by Manchester United fans", as in it is the Man U (and City and Newcastle, Sunderland etc) supporters who are being the Torys by singing songs about being poor at the people of the City of Liverpool. ("Feed The Scousers", "Sign On", "In Your Liverpool Slum" etc"). How that has evolved into Liverpool FC being a "Tory club" with "statues of Torys outside the ground", I don't know? Or Newcastle singing songs about Pickfords T-Rex arms as being disrespectful to the working class people of Liverpool. And why would "Tim and Miles from Surrey" be bothered about songs about Scousers?
I have even seen posts on Man U forums by LFC hating Manc match goers deploring the singing of such songs as embarrassing and a betrayal of ones working class roots. They sound like a 1980's Young Conservatives/ Bullingdon Club piss up. Accepting and agreeing with your fellow Scousers that singing of anti working class songs by middle class torys/ gammon should be challenged without any "ah yeah but warrabar dem RS doh?" is NOT a dilution of your football loyalties. Who knows where you end up when you come out with "Its dem RS playing the victim card again" when the songs are challenged? Or sitting in The Brick, laying out a spread and rolling out the welcome mat with the people who sing these songs, even though they are carrying and unfurl their You Scouse Bastards banners?
Bit odd then that your great socialist fans and da libbbberpewwwwl echo were not outraged on the Saturday when it was sung at Everton fans, the great socialists who sing about players babies, der super redmen who decimated an area to build a stand, the red flag flying super supporters who sing about players breaking their leg,you lot are the worse in the league so keep your preaching to RAWk,you lot cant lecture anybody on morals

Wow what a whopper.

Victim, much?

I still remember Liverpool fans mocking us for freezing ticket prices. Much socialism, wow.

They always remind me of that Harry Enfield character, " excuse me I can't help but notice were considerably richer than you"
Seems the more distant and detached they become from the local fanbase, the more they sneer down their noses with prejudiced vile at the "apparent" good fortune they believe they possess.

"Half-season tickets, pah, we buy ours outright, you tramps"
"Freezing ticket prices, you meffs, I bet you shop in Lidl as well"

And then in the next breath they'll berate Manchester city for ruining football by spending obscene amounts of money. Clowns don't know what they want...

So on Everton matchdays why don't you take your "socialist" arse off your Scotty road couch, and meander your way up to Anfield. And when your there take a walk around the pubs that the away fans going to Goodison use, and you'll hear plenty off anti-scouse songs and banter. Fans are assigned away pubs at most grounds in the country, and yeah even United fans. You'd probably understand that if you ever attended an away game, gotta go somewhere after all and it makes sense to control it.
And so just like the Brick, plenty of your locals are happy to turn a profit on an otherwise quiet afternoon/evening.... ;)

Feed the scousers, sign on, in your Liverpool slums.
Kind of pale into insignificance compared to that famous Munich song don’t you think.
People in glass houses.
