Well, it spooked their players last time...and I do sincerely believe they killed their own title chances with those stunts...and they wont learn by it.

But I'd much rather there was a brave City side chasing them down and not these jelly fish Guardiola has at his disposal, or a less flakey Spurs team at their heels.

To win the league you need to play well and have some luck. Half way gone and they have had both.

More pressure in the 2nd half but as others say these next couple of weeks could push them further or have them looking over their shoulder.

Miles ahead? They where technically 1 point ahead as City had a games in hand. Their defence cost them that year. Conceded 50 goals that season. Halfway thorugh this season and they have only conceded 7.

If this 6/7 point lead they hold over Spurs/City can be reduced to 3/4 by January 3rd I think it'll be VERY interesting.

IMO, Liverpool have to win the title in the next two games by shutting down any hope their pursuers have. If they dont.....
