ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Too many bottle job teams including us who roll over to these as soon as they come out the tunnel.

Added to that they are probably the luckiest team in the Premier league makes an ideal combination.

I'm starting to think that too. I have more faith in Spurs narrowing the gap than a City team that clearly cant hack being in a close race. All I can say about them is that it was a good job Guardiola's City had a huge lead built up early last season and didn't get the chance to tighten up and lose a lead. They are hugely disappointing as competitors.

I wont crown Liverpool champions-elect just yet. If they come out of the next two games with this lead in tact I'd concede that the writing is on the wall. However, if the lead is cut I'll feel that it's very much game-on, and they'd have to demonstrate a lot of mettle in the aftermath of seeing a lead reduced.

If they were conceding regularly had have more faith, they need to hit a bad patch which is the only saving grace

It’s 100% they’re year. Pains me but they won’t falter now it’s like the leagues handing them it
I'm not as bothered as I would of been a few years ago, mainly because the players and Klopp don't bother me, they don't have any Gerrards/Suarez's these days or anyone it's easy to hate, and the fans, let's be honest there unbearable anyway, win or lose, regardless there annoying whoppers

What I find odd about them is that the better they are doing the more obsessed they are with us.

The amount signing up on EFC forums pretending to be Blues or all over our twitter page is embarassing when they are 7 points top of the league.

If we were in their position I would be in a coma from furious masturbation.

Red Echo already on the defence for Salah by their tit of a correspondant with the headline "ex ref bizarrely claims Salah should be banned"

Erm no James you plantpot, nowt bizarre about someone saying he dived when it's plain for all to see that he dived.

Right now they are the best team - if they go on to win it fair play, city are gonna focus on the cl for certain if after they play the gap remains the same, it's more important to them and the manager than trying to chase down from a position way behind, spurs will still run them close but out the two I'd bet spurs would bottle it first.

Then again they could lose the next two and go into free fall, overall, nea that much as if they win it, it'll not exactly be the start of a new spell like in the 70s, but a season they just peaked much like Dortmund d did before falling away again, klopps system doesn't lend itself to a protracted spell of dominance

Should be a retrospective ban but won’t be. They’re good enough not to need that but the amount of pens they con is absolutely embarrassing. Newcastle still could have put 2 last them today but teams just don’t finish point blank chances against them. It’s their year.

Coming here to post this. I love Everton but don't really care about football in general anymore, so it won't bother me anywhere near as much as it would have a few years back. None of their players are that horrible human beings like Gerrard who you would hate to see win it. I was the same with England in the world cup, it wasn't an unlikeable squad like previous years so it wasn't as bad.

I'd laugh myself to sleep at their fans crying if they threw it away, but knowing gerrard never won the league and had years of suffering watching united overtake them was good enough.
