ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 2

Anyone who thinks that was the denial of a "clear goalscoring opportunity " are utterly deluded. 45 yards from goal and the ball moving away from the goal. The moaning about it is laughable.

Also if I hear another pundit talk about "the last man".....

That's not even in the rules. It's a clear and obvious goalscoring opportunity.

I can't stand them at all. Granted, it's from a far, but they got some bad calls today. I'm happy they did, they've lucked out enough. But that was a red and that was a penalty in the box.

We lucked out this week, they didn't. I'll take it.

Dive FC in complaining abt penalty not being given shocker!

Liverpool have been poor, but still draw or win. Main thing is, they create chances regardless of how they're playing.

City don't seem to have that in them atm. Last night they didn't want to take 'risks' with the ball, progressively getting worse as the match went on. Its not a good sign at all unfortunately.

Liverpool had 10 shots with 3 on target.
City had 12 shots with 4 on target.
And that doesn't include City's harshly disallowed goal.

Wasn't expecting them to draw yesterday. City will drop more points so i expect Liverpool to win it sadly

If it can get within a result going into the last month or so then I wouldn’t put a Liverpool bottle job out of the question. Klopp and Liverpool have form for it. Sadly I think they’ll have a comfortable buffer as City look disinterested. It would be good if City were dumped out of the CL or lost in the domestic cups so that they needed the league to rescue their season.

What’s probably the most cringeworthy element is all these young lads talking about the title run in like they’re some sort of experienced veterans who have seen it all before. Seasoned title run in experts, rather than just being excited like any fan of any other club who hadn’t won it for 30 years would be. Only they can be smug about something that they have absolutely no right to be smug about considering their propensity for bottling recently.

Klopp blaming the snow the absolute toothy gimp, always got an excuse ready, they need to be beaten quick because Klopp can't handle it and his head goes when the pressure is on which in return affects the team

It's pressure against smaller clubs they're expected to beat.

I said this a few weeks ago:

If Liverpool don't win the league, I don't think it'll be losses that cost them - I think it will be draws.

I still think the above is our best hope. I don't think they'll lose many as teams are too reluctant to commit players forward when they have them on the ropes. But from now on in it's two points dropped every draw instead of one point gained - the big question is can they handle the pressure.
