They're happy with their bottling manager opening up the champagne after losing a final, they'll be more than happy with whatever their best player does. We may have gone through some crap times but I praise the Lord that no player or manager will be too big for our club, the same cannot be said about them.
I remember the celebrations when we finished 4th under Moyes. I even remember the magnificent 7th dvd. There is enough to laugh at them about without having to re-write history

Uefa were lauding them in the semi final draw calling them European royalty.

And stadium bans can only happen with incidents in the ground anyway.

Uefa will give them a meek slap on the wrist and a measly 10k fine.

Maybe this incident will inspire the Etihad crowd that having a library for big european nights doesn't work and you have to drum up some sort of intimidation and rousing atmosphere that can affect the opposing team and match officials in their favour.

I remember watching their 2nd leg semi final game against Real and how flat the ground was for such a huge game when they were only 1-0 down in tie,was a tiny improvement against the RS but still it wasn't an impact, top european teams just don't seem flustered at the Etihad.

Etihad and the Emirates are just the libraries of English football,is it the make up of the grounds as in the boring bowl shape far from the pitch,as i recall Highbury was quite an intimidating ground, stands right on top of the pitch and quite close to the pitch lines.

Highbury the Library?

Or are you talking about a different Highbury that nobody else knows about?

Highbury was a brilliant ground.

Clock end and North bank behind the goals, one of the toughest grounds to play at,as well as the smallest pitch on width.

Won all the titles there and got to 4 european finals playing in that ground.

Contrast with the Emirates, sounds like a library, far away from the pitch, stupidly small roof and the stadium isn't even walled off to keep sound in.

Spurs new stadium saw all the faults of the terrible emirates stadium and tweaked the design away from a bowl stadium to keep the noise in and close to the pitch and built a 18k single seater stand behind on of the goals.

Why on earth did they do that to the corners.
