Salah did bottle it. Must have a low pain threshold like Sturridge.

And was he crying about missing the rest of the CL final or missing the World Cup?

I am sure PL defenders will be taking note of how to handle him next season.

That's what I'm thinking, I haven't watched them this season, but was wondering whether anyone tried actually roughing him up. It seems all good players at the other top six seem to get roughed up after a short while of success like salah had, but not him, bit weird.

I have to agree with @davek imagine tryna tell ronaldo hes coming off!

I wasnt really disagreeing with him.

All I was saying is that (even minor) shoulder injuries are extremely painful, and until a scan is done to see the actual extent of any damage, there is no way a physio can say with a scintilla of confidence that a player will be ok to carry on. Nor that further damage will not occur.

Lets say the player over ruled the medical team, showed "bottle", and played on, 10 minutes later he gets thumped again. (Because he would have been, lets be grown up), and serious damage is done. 6 to 9 months out.

By, I am assuming to be fair, the medical team made the decision to sub him, they have actually given him a fighting chance of a WC.

I think the point is the player would of had to of been physically dragged off, where as it didnt seem that way

As i mention ronaldo again he would be throwing a hissy fit, would not walk off

Just a thought, was he weak with his fasting for Ramadam? Did this have an effect on his fitness? Im only an amatuer and if I havnt eaten properly I suffer when training.

I said exactly this the day before the game kicked off, that this would be a problem

We dont know what goes on behind the scenes, but it seems strange to me. Hes been on fire all season and to come off that easy is a bit strange. Remember when Ronaldo got injured in the Euro final, he tried to stay on.
