When Man Utd win the league, the narrative isn’t ‘what it means/will do for this city’

When Chelsea win the league, the narrative isn’t ‘what it means/will do for this city’

When Liverpool win the league, the narrative is ‘what it means/will do for this city’.

This city has two clubs. The other club has a huge, dedicated fanbase within the city and do not want to be associated with them tramps in any way.

Why do the media push this agenda for them? It means nothing for most of this city.

Because EFC are too scared to make their voices heard mate. If they said that about City Utd fans and their club would be all over it - same with the london clubs etc.

We've had owners over the last two decades more happy with keeping their head above water than fighting the propaganda battle that goes on in the media.

If Moshiri had any sense he would realise saying silent does nothing but damage the club and says something / instructs the clubs social media department to release a statement putting shame on LFC which will be spread around the rags and Sky etc.

Having had a reputation as amongst the beat at policing football matches the last few years I think the the locals have let themselves down badly

This all comes from poor decisions at the top of the pyramid. The only caveat will be: Thursday wasn’t a football match and neither was last night.

As much as Klopp is a horror on the field, he seems quite a genuinely good guy off it. I hope he says says something about this.

And this DOES effect EFC - if we ever win something the police may limit our fans celebrations over fears because of what THAT lot did.

Yeah, the whole country will think that Everton fans went down to celebrate asterisk win and get a dose of Covid19.

Mate we are being airbrushed out the city. Sky sports proved that the other day when they failed to mention us at all bar once in an article about the city.

Even going over to Facebook and I'm not even wasting my time mentioning this for the pure bile being thrown at anyone. Mention the pandemic, the celebrations etc and people are being attacked as a result.

I've even seen someone mention it's never their fault and it's discracful and the first comment back to him mentioned Hillsborough as a defence. It's that venomous in their fan base.

I know it won't happen but if the club made a statement separating themselves from the utter scumbags across the park then it would highlight at least their shirt colour doing it
