ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

That statement is a disgrace. Not a word of condemnation for those scumbags last night, not a mention of trying to identify those responsible, not a word about them letting their club and City down.

Just a placation and a promise of a parade down the line.

If one of those fireworks goes through a window on the upper floors they were aiming at, we’re looking at a World heritage site building, the most iconic building in the City, being set ablaze with whatever outcome.
They were literally cheering those bell ends on, it wasn’t just a ‘few kids’ it was grey haired blokes encouraging the clowns and hundreds of them cheering when they hit. One of the clips clearly had one of them shouting ‘blow it up’ at they fired at it.

And all for what? Some blue lights on the building, which was lit red white and blue for Armed forces day.

They’re always the same when ‘celebrating’, bitter, classless and up for a ruck.

There will be all out war in the city if we ever win something you know. They will infiltrate the parade. It’s not going to be pretty, but unfortunately Merseyside Police have already shown their hand that they can’t control huge mobs

In the aftermath of this they don't deserve a parade when it's safe (is it ever with them).

It should be restricted to having their celebration at Anfield. Ticket only. Season ticket holders and those with a certain amount of match credits.
The not so bad ones get to celebrate and all the mess can be cleaned up by their club.
They deserve feck all.
Nothing.

If I had any authority of any sort in the city I would be doing everything I could to prevent them having anything. They've proven over and over again what absolute scum they are.

As a spurs fan I can only imagine how you guys feel when watching these scenes unfold and then the media cover up that quickly follows. I mean I hate arsenal as much as the next spurs fan but my hatred for the RS just grows deeper by the day. No other set of fans would ever “celebrate” in the way these clowns do on a constant basis. There’s a reason why every other football fan hates them with a passion so hopefully you can take some comfort in that fact.

Don't live that far from Pier Head and it was blatantly obvious that people we congregating there from early afternoon yesterday, and yet nothing was done. Part of me can look past the litter and the damage caused, that's superficial, but I'm staggered that people are willing to risk their lives and the lives of others for a glorified pissup.

It's been simmering since that Emily Hughes show at the George's all those years ago. Everton are tragic an pissing off the balcony thing.
The atmosphere at derby games started to go bad after that.
Did he [Poor language removed] the balcony, I wasnt born then? What possesses them?

The Echo were posting as if it was official celebrations and to get down there for the party.

They were much slower in reporting that their fans had kicked off and caused murder, again.

Seeping through bit by bit to the MSM. LFC at least acknowledging the subject now will allow their sycophants in the media to cover if not tackle last night's events.
