Unless there is a clause under "Public disorder", they would have to.

Its how insurance works. They cant decide not to pay out if premiums have been paid for the levels of cover they have calculated them on.

edit. Their loss adjuster might decide the damage isnt £10000 mind.

Their death sheet will be significantly longer than any other football club’s in the world. Significantly. Might sound harsh to say but the reality is people have lost their lives unecessarily because Liverpool wanted fans in the stadium vs Atletico and were quite happy not to warn their fans against large scale protests, in fact they attacked the Mayor when he (correctly) warned against it. I mean that the insurance company would pay the Liver building owners/policy holders to have the damage repaired, that shouldn't be a problem, what I meant was that the insurance company got after the perpetrator in the civil court for their torts (ie that they have been wronged and seek compensation from him). It could financially ruin him if he contests.

To be honest I have to admire the sheer level of obliviousness that article delivers. It's such a departure from reality it deserves some sort of kopite award... Maybe a special, 'always the victims' award needs setting up and we can send the award winning gob.... A trophy. Could make the trophy an asterisk for good measure.

Genuinely bewildered by that whole article. I love the classic, accepting some blame rather succinctly in one brief paragraph and then dedicating 1000s of words to blaming or absolving liverpool fans of blame. It's so childish, I can't comprehend an adult has wrote it. He's consumed by the cult.
