ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I mean that the insurance company would pay the Liver building owners/policy holders to have the damage repaired, that shouldn't be a problem, what I meant was that the insurance company got after the perpetrator in the civil court for their torts (ie that they have been wronged and seek compensation from him). It could financially ruin him if he contests.

Hadnt thought of that. £10000 is a pin prick for an insurance company, so I doubt they would be arsed, as its unlikely they would secure anything more than a £10 pm payment plan.

You can see how wired they are.

They don't need toxicology reports like, just to prove beyond reasonable doubt and I think the video does that (it can only be cocaine).

They need some sort of evidence that it was an illicit substance, a video of them sniffing some nondescript white power is frankly laughable and would be a waste of time trying to prosecute.
On the scale of things those lads were only having a laugh, violence and criminal damage are the ones who the police should be going after. The fact it was a bizzie's hat is only a vanity detail of the indiscretion.

The ‘beer hooligan’ Tony Evans placing the blame on Joe Anderson for not following up on his warning in April about the mutants gathering. Apparently he should have warned them again last week. Unbelievable!! After the stick he got last time off those SoS whoppers why should he have to say it again?!

Just take some responsibility for once FFS!!

oh and notice there’s a reference to Evertonians in there as well as the obligatory Hillsborough references.

Rubbish Like this just reinforces the ‘always the victim’ view that people have of them and that they always vehemently deny (by saying you’re mocking Hillsborough of course)

I think the really telling paragraph that sums this article up is the following:
"History means that Liverpool supporters will always be held to a higher set of standards than most other fanbases– or lower, according to their detractors. Football fans became classic folk devils in the 1970s and 80s and because of this an environment was created where the most outrageous lies could be told and believed after the Hillsborough disaster. Those untruths have been categorically exposed in the past decade but too many people will look at this week’s events, nod knowingly and say, “see, we always knew what they were like.”"
It started down the road of their behaviour in the '70's and '80's but somehow managed to airbrush the one event that will forever blacken their name, Heysel.

There's always 'conterxt' and relativism with their apologies.

To hear them talk you'd think they hadn't ever been responsible for hundreds of deaths.
