ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Maybe in a few weeks when their loved ones are dead they may reflect on their actions.

I doubt even then they will connect the dots.

Just a pity that innocent people become collateral damage in their latest atrocity, if they'd only hastened their own deaths I'd consider it a boon for humanity.
No, they'll be working an angle on how the authorities didn't protect them - from themselves - just like that supporter who's old fella copped for it after the Athletico game.

Wow what a CANT that snide Evans is. How bitter and infantile does he come across in that article. The twatty childish attempt to factor Everton into the disgraceful scenes at the weekend....he needs pulling up for that.

Give him a running headbutt, Joe!!!

I fear he may actually be correct that we are also unfairly tarnished by their actions.

I've already seen someone I know personally say to someone else I know personally that Evertonians would've done the same (the fireworks/burn stuff) if we had won the League (n)

If that happens, it will obviously be the government’s/mayor Joe’s/EFC fans fault. Select your favourite.

Don't know if this link will work, but for anyone who didn't hear the Roger Phillips talk in this afternoon it's here,

The bitter little RS I was fuming with is at 3:28:30

Would bet on that being a wind up to be honest, the bloke on the line sounded like he was trying to keep laughs in. I've no doubt there's a lot of idiots out there who have the same delusions though.

Already started this line of attack - I've heard from these "decent" reds I know, who were there, that the city didn't put enough police on to deal with what happened, and protect them from the large numbers of people who were bound to congregate. Also there was loads of gangs of kids (girls and lads) just out to cause trouble, drinking and drugging it up - guess what - they weren't kopites.

When I responded with a couple of questions:

1 - why should the police and council plan to protect you lot from an gathering that was illegal, and that you all shouldn't have been there in the first place? Emergency service and resources are already stretched, bit irresponsible that isn't it?
Also, Why didn't the threat and fear of covid, plus the advice from Herr Gurn, stop you going in the first place, and why didnt you get yourself home when this covid fear overtook you? I'm Still awaiting a response.

2 - They should take up the lack of police presence and make a complaint to the chief constable of the Merseyside force, who amazingly, just so happens to be a kopite - again awaiting a response.

3 - did you go up and speak to these non-kopite gangs causing the mayhem, and verify they weren't kopites or try to stop them from doing it - again nothing from these decent reds.

Keep peddling your lies reds, your full of them.

No shame #kopitesnotscousers

The thing is, itll probably be another incident like that lad from Ireland who ended up in a bad way after getting jumped by the Italians.
The perception of their fans by clubs, world wide, is that they are thugs. Just like the perception of the English national team. The majority of the time, theyll get away with it. But there will be the one time their luck runs out. Its up to them to address their issues.
