The EFL aren’t going to come down on their biggest cash cow. It will never happen. If it was City though or any other team outside of Liverpool United Arsenal they’d be out by now.

If they had any balls they'd kick them out, hypothetically that player could have scored the decisive goal, or affected the outcome of the game.
They have to be kicked out, but it's special dispensation fc so you know they won't

According to the article, Sunderland were fined, but not kicked out after fielding 4 ineligible players.
Can't see the RS being booted out (as much as I would love it).

Another unbelievable article by the BBC - truly breath taking stuff.
That song started of in Italy. It was exported to Spain, Germany & Portugal by football fans well before any Liverpool fans had ever heard of it. Now the BBC come up with a completely fictitious that they started in local pubs before the match!
Why oh why do they do this type of stuff?

It’s not an article, it’s a video. Plus, the lad says that they created it based on a song they heard around Europe.

All for digs and piss taking, but creating stuff is weird. The point is that the BBC pander to them, not that anyone suggests they made that song up.

Expulsion from all Cup competitions, home and abroad for the next 3 seasons should cover it I'd say.
Historical precedent suggests a small fine and move along, which is probably right, I can't see it being a serious breach of rules.
