Mohamed Salah: Fifa says Egyptian votes void because of capital letters
Two votes for Mohamed Salah in the Best Fifa men's player award were not counted because signatures were in capital letters, says Fifa.

The Egyptian Football Association (EFA) said acting Egypt coach Shawky Gharib and captain Ahmed Elmohamady voted for Liverpool forward Salah.

Fifa said: "The signatures on the voting forms were in capital letters and thus seemed not valid."

Signatures in capital letters. FFS, you shouldn't get a vote if you're that 'kin thick.

Another unbelievable article by the BBC - truly breath taking stuff.
That song started of in Italy. It was exported to Spain, Germany & Portugal by football fans well before any Liverpool fans had ever heard of it. Now the BBC come up with a completely fictitious that they started in local pubs before the match!
Why oh why do they do this type of stuff?
 
That whopper with the guitar who serenades the day trippers from Norway, Ireland and Somerset North is a massive embarrassment. Its accompaniment at the same level of the England band. There's nothing spontaneous or relevant to fan culture about it. They have so many of these off-shoot cottage industry geg ins with the bluecoat boys of the Anfield wrap leading the way.
