ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

It's not digraceful to want your team to win; it's disgraceful to want City to drop points. They just so happen to collide today.

The best outcome is 3 points to City.

Completely agree. If we hadn't already waved goodbye to doing anything worthwhile in the league already, I'd be on board for an Everton win.

But we have, so I don't. If we lose to Bournemouth and Sheffield United but beat City, I'll be honestly furious.

Exactly.

You want the team YOU support to purposely lose just so it scuppers our rivals chance of the league, I mean I don't know what to say to this.

Leaving aside the very real concerns that Liverpool are receiving corrupt performances from GKs and that it may well continue to occur, they demonstrated today again (and it happened loads last season) that they are very vulnerable away from home to mid-table opposition.

If City can just keep in touch and allow the season to sap a small squads legs in the second half of the season, there's a lot of hope here.
