The point is that they persistently attempt to take ownership...q.v. the Liver Bird saga and others. The Intellectual Property Office (which is the body in charge of trademarks and the rights to) must heave when they get another FSG/RS Letterhead regarding another application. Jesus tonight, they even applied to trademark this "Allez" garbage I believe, as well as, bizarrely, "Six Times". I wouldn't be surprised if they claim ownership of their dirge anthem....and say that the Kop sang it before Rodgers and Hammerstein actually wrote the lyrics and composed the music.

Last year referees were disallowing legitimate goals against them and giving them offside goals and they had goal keepers throwing it in their own net every week and they still didn’t win.

They’re not playing well despite having a fully fit squad and no fixture congestion. They could easily be sat a few points behind already based on performances. They’ve lucked out so far but no team has ever won the league playing as poorly as this.

You want the team YOU support to purposely lose just so it scuppers our rivals chance of the league, I mean I don't know what to say to this.

Some people do 'want the team WE support to' etc....that's their choice. The RS have decreed in recent seasons that WE ALL do in their usual hysterical blanket disapproval manner.....so its inevitable that more people will think that way hence why the faux shock and outrage ? Obsession doesn't come into it.
I always want us to win....but I wont be surprised/heartbroken/devastated/bleach-swigging (all may apply) if we don't. Its called being realistic

Salah seems to have dried up. So do the clean sheets. They’re playing their first 11 every game and the fixture congestion hasn’t even started yet and they look poor. If they carry on like this they won’t be anywhere near City. The worry is that this is their slump and then Salah etc. catch fire. At the moment though Van Dijk and the odd Mane finish/goalkeeping error are papering over big standard performances against average opposition.

I hate Everton almost as much at the moment. Best run of opening fixtures we've had in ages and we've been shocking.
