It is a sad day when a newspaper dies, if that newspaper investigated the problematic, exposed the guilty and corrupt and informed its readers and held itself and everyone accountable.

However the Echo ain't that type of a newspaper no more.

When the Kop magazine folded I think the Echo must have headhunted their entire staff.

I see the dirt rag Liverpool Echo are in trouble financially, seen a few posts about it on social media today, the one from the food banks guys has a lot of good comments from blues.

Just another business failing due to poor strategy. Their target demographic is a very niche one. Their sales figures prove that their are not many locally based, Liverpool FC supporters with an interest in local affairs and the capacity to read. Surprising really

I saw an article the other day saying that we, as well as the RS should stop the petty vandalism towards one and other.

The Echo has descended into a daily diet of crime, LFC, 1000 things to do in Liverpool, crime, LFC, and random people wearing the LFC kit in a story in no way related to football.

It's no longer a credible newspaper and deserves to die.
