ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The whole problem with most Liverpool supporters is that they're not actually football supporters, they simply support Liverpool as an excuse to go the pub and suspiciously go the toilet every 10 minutes. They aren't that different from sports fans in America who wear jerseys, but have no knowledge of the sport. I've said it countless times, every time they get into a final or they play in a big game there is trouble, because they don't really have ay sense of camaraderie, that Everton fans have that we have learned going to the game.

The reality is the number of proper Liverpool supporters out there is only pretty small, I've only known a select handful of Liverpool fans who go the game, yet nearly all Everton fans you meet will have had season tickets and they actually know about football. If these people just said they weren't interested in football I'd have no problem, it's the fact they continually bleat about football when they don't know what they're talking about. Just go the pub, when they're on and listen to the braindead conversations going on. A personal favorite of mine was when Salah was fouled outside the box and the divvies next to me, couldn't understand why it wasn't a penalty. The trouble that occurred was highly predictable, I don't know why the police are pretending that they're surprised.

Weird one with Henderson, you could replace him with at least a dozen other Premiership midfielders and you'd likely get the same result if not better. The same cannot be said for KDB. I'm not having that he's some captain marvel either, he's got the arm band cos he's English, loves a moan and been there longer than anyone else. I'm not having that tag line 'it's not all just about ability you know!' either - well its about 95% of it.

Fair play to him he's won the lottery in managing to stick around long enough and be part of a good side that has won trophies. As much as we hate Gerrard though he actually dragged them up, he was a captain.

This is just your classic media love in nomination with very little to do with football.

Says it all about their fans. They’ve won the title so let’s go celebrate and stab a load of people.

A bunch of feral maggots each and every one of them.

Henderson will get his chance to show how good he really is in an England shirt, I will eat my arse if he can hold his own against a midfield of the class of Portugal or italy any top team would pinpoint him as the weakest link, cant help but think it's a private joke between journalists.
