He’d beat Henderson even now.Henderson isn't even in the top 5 Liverpool players let alone the country. Worth noting that the fat alchoholic desk bound journos once voted scott Parker the winner

I'm almost invariably working with City and United fans, and when talking about football, I always use the term asterisk for this part of the season. They all pick up on it and start using it without any explanation. They know this season means nowt. I've used it with a couple of the lads from down south who support London clubs and they do the same. For some reason I was sent by email a James Pearce piece in the Athletic (not reproduced here, btw, just the gist of it and the pathetic punchline) regarding why Liverpool's title win is "the best" in the PL history:
The numbers speak for themselves, he says.
18 successive victories, equalling the longest winning streak in English top-flight history.
24 consecutive home wins as they dropped just two points at Anfield all season.
61 points out of the first 63 on offer in a season.
So, no Invincibles, no Centurions, but the best PL team of all time because...well...erm...'consecutive wins' and...erm...because he says so.
....and then he finishes on...
"On second thoughts, give them an asterisk if you want"
Ha Ha Ha. We will.
Absolutely rattled.
