ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Bizarre damage limitation latest statement from Asst Ch Con citing the 9 arrests from a crowd 3000... the crowd could have been bigger...we cant impose a Dispersal Order before an event. Why cant you... when the order is to prevent disorder in the first place ? Shambles.
Thats the type of thing that enables them, add in the fact that whenever something happens you get the same old shouts of its a minority, they arent Liverpool fans, they're not football supporters, its *insert whoevers fault, and yet time after time it is them involved in these incidents,I dont remember City,Chelsea,or any other club trying to set fire to stuff, fighting each other, attacking rival grounds or statues, yet every excuse is used to justify their behaviour

Without going into the finer details, the use of the order should be based on persistent problems therefore in this case, until it occurs, they aren’t going to be issued.

It’s a reactive measure.

Thats the essence of my point, the recidivism of these yobs of theirs and prior intelligence should surely insist that this type of order if issued should at least have some teeth. By the yardstick of the crowd amassing early evening, the Ch Supt or whatever rank i/c should have started it earlier than 2130. Then again, even after it supposedly kicked in, the crowd didnt self disperse till 2am so no wonder there were the fights and ale everywhere there.

Yet again "they had no choice. It was the league's fault. They put guns to their heads and frog marched them down to the stadium"

What a piece of garbage that is. Like football fans have no free will to be able to weigh up celebrating and the risk to their own communities. Glendenning practically sanctioned the Kopites reaction to congregate...even though he was attacking 'the men in blazers' for not learing from the previous Anfield riot...so he cleatly thinks that 'the blazers' are innately more intelligent than fans. Nobhead.

The world has gone mad, we're in a global pandemic yet every week people are getting stabbed and assaulting eachother because they're lightweights and catch too much sun. Obviously not all of it is football related but for the harm and the spread of disease that's come from the resumption of football, like we all knew, boris has messed up massively. How has morale been boosted? They should have known this would happen with the two scummiest set of fans sitting at the top of their leagues. No foresight was used at all.

After an incident like that the Shankly Hotel should be shut down.

Maybe the Chief Constable will step in.

It's only a stabbing Dave. Besied the man slipped, and the head of police has people to argue with on social media about his 87 concurrently running season ticket that he first got in 1890. You can't expect him to waste time on social media, time travel to re-write history and investigate crime, can you?

He was probably in there in the Shankly Suite under a King Kenny Duvet swigging tea from his favourite "LFC THE BOSS" mug.
