ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I'd forgotten the moment when LFC put guns to all their fans heads, herded them into The Pit and made them lick each other...

Take some responsibility you weird cultists

to be honest mate, I think Chelsea have a lot to answer for regarding this

id have Almost certainly gone to goodison if the derby was on and so would a lot of others so it could easily be A lot of people we see every Saturday instead of the bloke makes in the article . Many may have been fully aware of the facts but a lot weren’t . It probably wasn’t a brilliant idea for a man of his age to go the game but the responsibility lies with the government and they let people down including people from my/our city .
the responsibility lies in many places, we called off our derby game well in advance (and started to get some stick for it until others started cancelling too), they could have done the same but they saw a 'magical European night under the lights'/

They've never taken any personal responsibility. That Atletico match is a perfect example. The government were at fault. Ergo, we have no culpability whatsoever. Kopite logic.

They will blame someone else, and when that someone else is shown to have culpability it magically erases any element of blame they might have had.

Not the first time, but high time they stopped getting away with it...

Just saying

Grow up and take responsibility for yourself, if you’d have gone to Goodison and curled your toes up you'd have no one to blame but yourself and the club

hang on Mate in my entire Adult life I like to think I’ve never failed to take responsibility for any action I’ve taken , including when it’s had a directly detrimental effect on me and my position . It’s one of my very few character traits I’ve vaguely happy with . I’d have almost certainly gone to goodison and If I’d Died I appreciate you , amongst many others wouldn’t have cared and I certainly would have no desire to seek your sympathy.

All I was trying to say was i can , as a football fan and a human being empathise with people when where taking about their friends and family dying . We have an awful lot of ammunition to mock that shower over , plenty of it . This topic felt unnecessary, you disagree fine .

Remember last season when being champions of Europe was rated as being far more important then merely champions of England? I hope if city win the CL that nobody changes their view on this very important issue

I remember a RS mate saying the Champions league means more because you are up against the creme de la creme of Europe. I might give him a bell later to see if that is still his take on it.

Did it occur to Maria Eagle that a phone call to LFC in good time before the gates were open, raising her concerns, might be more effective than waiting to berate Hancock after the gates were open and the crowds were already in the ground? It was up to the club to take the decision to call the game off, like other clubs had done.

The answer you will get will contain all of the following sentences, not a real CL cause it's one leg and you don't have to go play Athleti in the Vincente Calderón, different rules, financial fair play, if we hadn't of been forced to play by uefa when we clearly didn't want too and our minds were elsewhere we would have won it all, six times, Klopp is the greatest ever, best CB in Europe, best full backs in Europe, net spend, better off resting so we can retain our league title, bus tour, still European champions now, bitter.
All will be delivered without one iota of irony
