ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

The council need to put a stop to it - regardless of your club allegiances the city is gonna look like an LFC colouring book in a few years.

Spot on mate, it's getting way out of hand especially around the cains brewery village, where all the tourists go.

They can do what they like around analfield with these monstrosities, especially after they have razed the place and made it look like Beirut after the blast over recent years, but these things shouldn't be allowed to be going up all over the city.

It's true when people suggest we are being erased from our own city.

This is partly down to Everton not being bold enough of course. Get a flight into the city or get the train, your greeted by loads of lfc adverts and stuff. There's no Everton adverts. The club can change that but don't.

Google tourist things to do in the city and Anfield is in the top 2 - Goodison tours are on the second or third page. They seem to have tie ins with other stuff in the city too.

The murals that are popping up are the same. Why can't Everton and Everton sponsors start doing some?
. It's difficult enough competing but half the time visitors to the city wouldn't have a clue there's more than one Premier league club here.

BMD alone will sort our prescence out to a large extent - the amount of tourists in london who visit WHU and Spurs new ground regardless of attending the footie matches will see a similiar thing here.

I would love to see 1 or 2 Everton Murals about the city centre - but I wouldn't want EFC on every wall in the City its just too much like the RS are attempting.

I think there should definitely be a limit within reason to all the LFC murals going up

I'm sure they'd feel the same if it was the other way around

Ultimately both sets of supporters need to share the City and neither side should take the pish with it

Absolutely have some LFC murals dotted about the place, but have some EFC ones too and keep the numbers to a reasonable level

Heck, do some combined ones even. I'd love a Gary Ablett one where he's wearing a half LFC/half EFC shirt, which would be a way to represent both clubs in a tasteful way

Is there anyone in particular you'd like as our "Official Grooming Partner"?

that’s fair or maybe we could just have the one , I mean One of our own would be nice wouldn’t it ? I know Brian labone said 1:20 maybe he was predicting the number of murals we’d be allowed one day , although at the minute we’ve not even managed the one .
