I'm going to be absolutely honest now, so please forgive me.

With the greatest of respect, this is utter rubbish. Why should this comment ('bunk in every game in history bar one') invalidate the support shown by our club, and the respect we have always shown to the victims?

We have never once even suggested the culpability of the police and other parties in the disaster. We have never once suggested it should all be blamed on the fans.

But to suggest that someone else's culpability takes away ANY of theirs is absurd. Were there fans trying to force entry? Of course there were. Would we have had the same? Quite possibly, though it is hypothetical.

Just because something isn't ALL someone's fault, or even MOSTLY someone's fault, it doesn't mean NO responsibility should be accepted. To deny that and frame in in emotional wrapping about kids hand in hand is what seems disrespectful to me.

We have always shown our support, as a club and as a fanbase, and weren't there. Many of those who are now 'weaponising' the disaster seem to care about nothing so much as insisting their unnaturally spotless behaviour, far more than the victims and families. They are the ones disrespecting the spirit of that mural, not us, not the original poster, and not me.

Give that a little think. Most of us live in a world in which everything has shades of grey. Some do not.

We are not, nor have ever been, 'on their level'. And hopefully, never will.

To be honest lad, you've contradicted yourself a load of times there. I hate them as a football club. Our brothers, family and friends , some of them happen to be red. God wouldn't have wanted it but its a fact. I'll give them down the banks about every single thing except snide shouts like was made there. Sorry if thats not the trend round here, if the trend is to make snide shouts like that then I'd rather just swerve the forum. I actually think you come across as a massive d1ckhead there. Thats my opinion.

I don't believe our fanbase are as low as their level and we all know they are bad muppets at the best of times but you really dont get 'it'. Grow up. I assume you aren't from the city. If you are then I'm gutted people like you walk amongst us. Sorry for being passionate about the but I lost someone at that game. If you knew anything about that ground you'd know it could have happened to any club. It just happened to happen to people from our city. That draw could have had us at that ground very easily. Spurs had it a few years before against Wolves when they couldn't breath.

Hate them? Yes, I do too and will till I shuffle off this mortal coil. Resort to digs like the bulger one days ago and then that absolutely snide comment? No. Not for me.

But those who want to do as you please. I'm sure I speak for the majority of decent Blues when I say its a level of horribleness that we wont entertain.

I could not have been more respectful, balanced and honest in that post. And you just disregard it, personally abuse me and say I don't get 'it'

If you re-read what I said I specifically reiterated the problems with officialdom etc. But I also called for a balanced acceptance of culpability, that's all.

You can think I'm seven shades of stupid if you want, but the bottom line is that I don't believe you took in the point I was making at all. Or you simply didn't want to, for whatever reason.

I'm not going to call you any names, or stoop to the level you have been showing yourself to be over the past few pages

And yes, I 'get it'. I have been 'getting it' since before my all time hero Alan Ball helped us lift the 1970 title. And yes, I am a local, four decade season ticket holder, not that it's any of your business

I apologise for trying to engage your closed mind with balance and logic. Wasted effort, clearly.

You are the embodiment of the 5% of vultures we have around the club. Not a chance you would spout anything you've just said in the pub. Because you'd get knocked clean out. I can say that. I've earned the right following this beautiful club and living in this city. You wont hate them more than me, I can guarantee that. But that stuff you have posted there? I'm really not sure what's wrong with sitting in the family enclosure, nor do I think you can dictate what I can or cant reply to.

Not that it matters, but I was a season ticket holder who used to go home and away for many years, and didnt sit in the family Enclosure.

I'm not sure why you seem to think anything I do, in relation to my support of Everton impacts you. I'm glad you watch the team, it's not a right you needed to earn- least of all from me but I'm glad you watch the club.

I don't hate Liverpool at all. So if you want the hate Liverpool more than me award, then you're welcome to it.

I dont know what this "us" thing is that you're a part of, and seemingly I'm not. If it makes you happy though you can be in the in group and I'll not be. Well done on your work combatting racism at the club if you've been involved in that.
