The first guy inserts himself into the discussion. I then am compelled to have to give him some facts around what his club has done and racism more broadly. The thing is, the sad guys spend months planning this stuff on RAWK, and then make a pitiful effort when they come. It's not hard to cut through most of what I say, but they're efforts to do so are typically appalling.

They've got themselves stuck in an awful bind about me.

They talk up what they aregoing to do for months, I go to bed, and wake up to see them calling each other peadophiles and the like. I mean what do you say to that? Another successful mission in making me look like an idiot I suppose.

Regards the long posts, they can just do what most Evertonians do, and just ignore them.

I mean it's not a "snide book" whatever that is. One of the books reference is the autobiography of their first black player in frm the 80's. A book about a black footballer obviously constitutes a "snide book" in his eyes though in the same way those who try to chalenge racism "shout racism" and "have an agenda". This is just dog whistling for far right, racist politics. They have never liked it when people call it out.

If you re-read what I said I specifically reiterated the problems with officialdom etc. But I also called for a balanced acceptance of culpability, that's all.

You can think I'm seven shades of stupid if you want, but the bottom line is that I don't believe you took in the point I was making at all. Or you simply didn't want to, for whatever reason.

I'm not going to call you any names, or stoop to the level you have been showing yourself to be over the past few pages

And yes, I 'get it'. I have been 'getting it' since before my all time hero Alan Ball helped us lift the 1970 title. And yes, I am a local, four decade season ticket holder, not that it's any of your business

I mean he says he couldn't be more balanced, and isn't going to stoop to your level of name calling, while in the paragraph above resorts to name calling.

This is half the problem, they think they can go around abusing people, and when called on it then make the person trying to identify their behaviour the issue. It's common behaviour of an abuser.

I mean, when dealing with abusive men, you realise quite quickly they all tend to follow the same patterns. If you study the literature around it, it's remarkably consistent in what they do. A lot of their fans fit into that category (not all by many means, but a growing number). So it's really easy to know exactly what will cause them enormous anger. Essentially not being intimidated by them, and calmly explaining their behaviour back to them is going to cause all manner of anger.

I know those two lads will be back, with different names. It's a cross we all have to bear.

Whoever thought an innocous discussion about Last Night of the Proms could result in that carnage. A fly well and truly got into that glass of champaigne. They obviously just really really like the Proms and the pagentry that goes with it, I'll try to avoid my more cutting critiisms on it moving forward!

Not sure if its me, but when you posted this I to noticed the words Liverpool Fan in the article and had read it earlier that day. Its since been posted again later in the thread, and being bored thought I'd take a look again and after scanning through 3 times, I can't seem to find those words.

Also, that page seems to strangely load at the bottom of the article, again, might be just me.
