ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Hi Koppite lurkers :bye:.

Van Dijk made two rash challenges that could of seriously injured 2 Everton players, before being injured himself in an unfortunate coming together between an outfield player and a goalkeeper. Live by the sword, die by the sword, right? That's the nature of the game, is it not?

Or should we now rewrite the rules so goalkeepers aren't allowed to goal keep any more?

I'd love to hear your views

Those two barges were nowhere near comparable to Pickford’s lunge.

We’ll never hear the end of this from the Kopites. Yes, they’ve gotten away with murder in previous derbies, but they have the most selective of memories.

Also wouldn’t be surprised if VAR changes are made now that it’s finally affected them in a big way.

Hello koppites :bye:. Me again.

Having watched the Pickford incident a couple of times, it's now very clear to me that Pickford simply made a routine save, and Van Dijk just simply got in the way. It's clear Van Dijk had no right to be there. It was always going to Pickford's ball. In fact, I'd go so far as to say Van Dijk left himself there to try and unnerve Pickford. He had just made 2 reckless challenges that the BBC described as him showing he was 'The Daddy'. I reckon he was trying to do the same with Pickford.

So if Van Dijk now has a career ending injury, he only has himself to blame.

Oh I know. Just doing a spot of early morning fishing.

Lovely weather for it.

Morning murderpool customers - I hope you all slept well?

I trust & hope that the cities landmarks and historical areas and it's residents are all safe, undamaged and unharmed.

I only ask this seeing as you tried to burn down our cultural centre and riot when you were "celebrating" your historic * league win, so who knows what you are capable of when your glorious ped enhanced team only manage to take a solitary point from little old Everton.

Perhaps it was a blessing in disguise that we are in lockdown and none of our fans were inside or around the stadium yesterday, as judging by the levels of bitterness and venom spewing forth from you're evil mouths, there could easily have been another Hysel type incident - history tells us what you are capable of on that score.

Do try to enjoy the season, and stay as classy & humble as you always have been, you Tory gobshites.

Would it really surprise anyone if der greatest defender in der wurld isn’t as injured as they are making out? Seems like a kopite thing to do to get all the attention back on them for a few days and help with their petition to get Pickford sent to the slammer.

based on absolutely no logic, information or knowledge I’m going to say he’ll be about for 6-8 weeks tops
