ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Reference CAS-5661570-T1XTBY

Thank you for contacting us and for listening to BBC Radio 5 Live Sport.

Firstly, we apologise for the delay in replying.

We were sorry to read of your unhappiness at our football build up to Liverpool v FC Red Bull Salzburg in the Champions League on 02 October.

Please be assured, BBC Sport has not got any bias for, or against, any team.

The commentators actually were talking over the song, and we only heard it in the background.

That said, your concerns are noted.

Please be assured that your concerns were sent to senior staff at BBC Radio 5 Live via our daily

report.

Thanks again for taking the time to get in touch.

Kind regards

Ok mate!
You're lucky to get a reply.

I wont lie, drink had been taken, but they literally shut Mike Costello up "to soak up the atmosphere" who was reporting from the World Athletics Championship. So, yeah, technically they were talking over the song, (as in, they told the athletics bloke to shut up as it was being sung) but as I said to them, there isnt a club on the planet that they would afford that to.

to be fair mate, they aren't going to hush the commentators to say "lets go to Goodison and soak up the weapons grade booing"

Bulgaria football president quit today after the racist abuse.

Why am I posting it in this thread you may ask?

Because the echo have connected him to some young keeper that never played a game for the kopites but was on their books for three years.

Everything always has to come back to them lot in some way

De Gea also now out of the United v Liverpool game on Sunday.

It never rains.....

He'll play. He's only 'a doubt', and he's git five days to get right...

That said, whether he plays or not, I still think United will give them a game. They always struggle there - they couldn't break down a team that had four first half cripplings last season.

Because, however they are playing, United aren't afraid or respectful of them. They'll get stuck in, rather than waiting nervously in the tunnel to get Salah's autograph before the game. Goon on TALKSport tonight picking the 'combined starting XI' for the game tonight, and gleefully announced it would be all eleven Liverpool players. He said that Pogba and MacGuire were the only two you could even remotely consider, and the rest he dismissed as not even worth mentioning.

So Rashford isn't even worth mentioning alongside the 'Best Three Forward Players In Der Werld'? I'd dispute that.

God, I've never wanted United to stuff a team more in all my life

An RS mate is doing some driving for me today.Just came round to get the van. "don't suppose you want to talk about the football do you" He said. Even though I said do I F*** he insitsted on spending the next 15 minutes talking about them and how they were unlucky last season and that they deserve a bit of luck.

It is totally pointless talking to them about this stuff, they are totally blinded. Why do they always think we want to talk about them?

Agreed mate. Anyone you speak to, work, friends, in pubs, they are so blinkered. Nothing literally is ever their fault. They feel the world owes them a favour. Its like, they deserve to win the league because they are Liverpool. I've missed hating them. Come on United, do yourselves a favour

Please

I always talk about United with them. It baffles them. I should up my game and talk about City too seeing as they are the class act of the league. Very few rs know anything other than rs. If they talk about doing things on a shoestring (I know I know) then I go to Spurs and how magnificently they did last season as proof that it can be managed over the short term.

So only 3-0 to the RS then.
