ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

I think the difference is mentality - like him or not but Klopp has them running through brick walls for him and whilst a weirdo he seems the type who would have players terriifed of not putting in a shift under him.

Same with SAF crap players like Fletcher, Evans, Phil Neville etc won titles under him as he had them terrified of not performing.

Moyes overachieved with us for years on a shoestring budget as he has players fit and comitted.

Mentality plays a massive part in football and sadly Klopp has got it spot on there added with good recruitment.

You wouldn't see Gomes or Sigurdsson play for them as they dont run enough / not quick or fit enough.

Yeah I mentioned it earlier, Klopp has that mentality running through the whole squad, one player goes out the team, player who replaces him comes in with the same mentality and consistency, and that's even when it's one of the young lads who comes in.

Well what the board choose to do is up to them. My point is, Carlo knows more than any of the top 6 managers really. In terms of experiences and success, only Mourinho is in his bracket. So I'll take his opinion over a Lampard, a OGS or a Klopp.

i'd be shocked if they simply undermined his wishes. He has to be on board with the 5 subs for them to vote for it IMHO

Ok. So one of them is Klopp, who regularly puts his players in danger, so he knows best then?

Carlo Ancelotti, who has managed at a far higher level, in more countries and for longer than pretty much any manager in the league (bar perhaps Mourinho)has stated 3 subs is more than sufficient, and it is an attempt to gain an advantage. But yes, what does he know?

As for the rest, I'm not really sure you have addressed the points raised anywhere. Certainly not to me.
A far higher level bar Mourinho? I’m not sure what that means.

Do you mean the length of time at the top?

Well I doubt that at all. Klopp insisted he had 15 managers in agreement, but 14 clubs voted against him. In businesses CEO's and coaches will have all sorts of disagreements. It happens.

Carlo has made clear how he feels about it. I trust his judgement over a self serving hypocrite like Klopp, and the likes of Lampard and OGS.

Yes, length of time at the top, number of countries managed in, number of countries won trophies, number of years managing top teams. He is far and away above the rest in terms of those. Hes been managing top teams for over 20 years.

Maybe big clubs managed, trophies won? Ancelotti has managed, Juventus, Milan, Chelsea, PSG, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich. Then you throw in Parma and Napoli.

Mourinho has managed, Chelsea (twice) Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Man U. Then you throw in Porto and Spurs.

Palace are a 'kin disgrace.

That Liverpool team cant be beating any team by that much. They just aren't good enough.
All Lpool players have asthma(only joking)

They seem to really use the money ball tactic and it works, they buy players they need for positions they need and always seem to get good deals. Jota for 40 mil is a steal.
We do the complete opposite

Having 5 subs benefits the bigger teams and makes the game unfair, Carlo almost never made 5 subs. Not to mention the time wasting

I get it that it's been a miracle that the murderers have only won one title in 31 years, and it looks like they could add to that this season at least. But you usually have a team that gets better when it initially picks up a title - but this one is worse than any of their last 4 seasons (forget this match today as it's as big an abberation as their ass-kicking from Villa). If there were a couple of real rivals they would be well under the cosh instead of opening a league lead.

This season is very much like the one Leicester won the league. Every one beating Everyone else, we went 7 without a win and still up near the top

Up to now yeah. But the massive advantage Liverpool have been handed with home team support and other title chasers playing in front of no home fams will open up a big gap for that lot from this point...and maybe offer Everton a way of consolidating a top 5 tilt.

Dave, they’ve won the league, champions league and world club championship in the last 3 years

don’t embarrass yourself with your hatred
That's like telling me that Man City last season were the best team in England when they obviously weren't.

Any decent PL era this Liverpool team would struggle.
