ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

When Everton are on I turn it on about a minute before kickoff and bang the kettle on at halftime and do a few bits around the house, then back for the 2nd half and it's off at the full-time whistle, sometimes I'll leave it on to hear from the managers.

Yeah agreed. I'll put in on in the background while I do something else but it offers nothing to us as fans and I see no reason to watch it.

Sky cover other sports really well.
The Golf, Cricket and NFL red zone are superb.

I would love the football to go onto pay per view at a decent price though.
It would be great, I would think that the PL are going to introduce their own streaming service.
An easily achievable target would be world wide a hundred million subscribers. Each paying a tenner a month means a billion a month income, even if they only charged for the 10 months that the league is on means 10 billion a year, so 30 billion over 3 years as opposed to the current 14 or so billion they currently get over 3 years.
A tenner a month represents fantastic value for fans to watch every single league game and the league are more than doubling their income.

I'd rather have someone like Ian Wright as a pundit on our games against Arsenal. At least he would be biased because he loves the team that is playing us rather than simply despising us.
But you're correct. A bit of balance. One from each club.
Souness is a cucking funt.
The call for Campbell was good. He is still a big fan of both clubs. The man exudes enthusiasm for both and isn't shy to make a critical comment when it's deserved. Would be perfect for this fixture especially.

I watched Gillette Soccer Saturday and I thought Glen Johnson was good, spoke well of us, mentioned the stadium, fans, exciting times for us moving forward. Not one iota of bellendish. At one point I nearly checked to make sure he had played for the RS.

I suppose those watching SPOTY tonight will be treated to his basking shark gob throughout the programme.
I have to concede that he'll probably win it due to the sympathy vote, you know, 30 years and all that.

Is Rashford one of the contenders.
SPOTY always makes me laugh as Murray won it a few times even though he has no personality and is never there.
Rashford should win it.
The RS will win team of the year

Bit harsh on Murray. Seems like a decent bloke who brought Britain its best tennis moments in a century.
