Absolutely devastating news if it happens, but comes from a very reliable source though. Can see why 2022 would be a good time for him to leave with his top players below all around 30 then and already starting to feel the effects of his high tempo style now. Cant see them spending big in the summer unless a Mane or Salah is sacrificed which would be a massive blow.

Yes maybe. That's the best option. Though there will be a settling in period.

If they pick up a stop gap, not sure how far it helps. Upacanno would help a lot, but cant see them getting him.

A lot of the noises emerging are no money for transfers. So it's by no means a given. If they dont, they will come under more pressure. And if they do, it may take time to remedy.
