Hope I am still around when that happens, be pissed for a month.Maybe it's our time Catcher to go there and end not only our poor run there, but end their great home run.
Terrible lack of quality in that Liverpool team. It's an indictment on the PL that they have a 4 point lead. These really are the slump years for football. Last season was dire and this season has sunk to a low that I cant ever remember.
That lad who came on at the back for them Williams: appalling player.
If any of the 3 regular scorers for Liverpool get an extended lay off with injury they are done for. They would have been if the African Cup of Nations had gone ahead - but that'll be deferred until Jan-Feb 2022.
They’re just above the 2 points per game level and even that has been down to some very fortuitous results. Any other season a team would be 6 or 7 points ahead of that mark at this stage. To actually be top of the league with that total is ridiculous.
I said a few weeks back that this Liverpool team is their worst for 3/4 seasons. They are muck in all honesty. The lack of any challengers will gift them another title, but the age of their key players is going to tell against them in the next season or so.They’re just above the 2 points per game level and even that has been down to some very fortuitous results. Their lead is only three points is it not?Terrible lack of quality in that Liverpool team. It's an indictment on the PL that they have a 4 point lead.
It is, sorry.Their lead is only three points is it not?
I agree; he has had an easy ride this season and last. Any sort of peer pressure from a decent side and his face will melt like the other kraut from Raiders of the Lost Ark.It is, sorry.
I honestly think if City or even United get their teeth into this season and go on a very decent run Klopp will explode. He cant handle pressure. IMO his teams win when they have a huge gap and cant be caught.
Would love to see Liverpool in a dog fight around Easter.

He wont build a dynasty. A/ he doesn;t have the personality to do that; B/ a lot of his current first team players are nearing their 30s; C/ FSF dont do major spending to offset B/.Interesting fixtures for City and Liverpool coming up. If City get their act together they could go on a long winning run. Pep finally seems to have sorted their defence out but they don’t have a striker worth his salt unless Aguero is fit. Liverpool have Southampton away and United in the next few games. If at any point this season Klopp finds himself behind in the race with a go emerging then suddenly everything will not be so rosy in Mordor towers.
They’ve had every single bounce of the ball go their way the last few seasons. Rivals going through managerial turmoil and massive injury crises, no meaningful local rivalry, European powerhouses all in a dip, and even transfer bans for one of their main domestic rivals. Meanwhile they’ve been completely injury free, benefitting from some extremely kind refereeing, have got very lucky at times, and with no real competition home or abroad to speak of. Despite all of this Klopp is still one dropped point away from going fully deranged at any given moment.
He’s not a crisis manager. He builds something and wins a bit with it (not prolifically, no league cups or FA cups in this period given the conditions is a failure regardless of how he spins it) but as soon as it starts going wrong he’ll be off. His ego won’t let him be the target for the kopites wrath as soon as they’re not smashing every team every single week. If they go out the CL at some point and the title starts to get away from them they’ll have the knives out for him immediately, that’s the culture he has created but will ultimately be one he hates. He’ll be off in the sunset quicker than anything once that happens. This idea of a Klopp dynasty is a pipe dream. He’s a pipe bomb ready to blow at any point and they haven’t got the fan base to tolerate him rebuilding a team and having some poor form.
