ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Were the pushers presented with the EPL trophy last night? Seems the rest of the season is pointless for the rest of the league according to the media this morning.

I know right. It’s not exactly going to be the only time Norwich ship 4 goals this season, they’re utterly dire.

I'll await to see what the Alisson injury is, it looked innocuous but it would come as no surprise to anyone if he was carrying an injury but was pushed through the pain barrier by Mr against modern football (so against medical advise on players). If such things are true, you can't bemoan luck, it's just utter stupidity.

The only thing I'd add re Alisson, is if he has done his achilles that is potentially a horrendous injury to do for a goalkeeper. All your power to spring for dives, crosses and coming off your line are impacted upon. Like Yakubu he will not be the same again if there's an injury to that.

The worst ones always do.

He tweeted that he'll "be back stronger than before"....now you dont say that when you have a sprian.

My estimation: 2/3 months out...possibly surgery.

It’s his calf Dave according to reports from that shower, which could be less. An Achilles injury would have been the worst injury for him to have.
Calf tear it will be. Scans will show if it's a level III tear or not this week. If it is, and all the indications are it will be given Klopp and Alisson's own words, that's 3 months out.

They we're always going to hammer Norwich. When was the last time they failed to do that? Especially at home. The Alisson injury should cost them any challenge for the league though.

The Alisson injury will cost them a lot of points.

That lot will have been choking on their cornflakes this morning.

Klopp complaining that he only has young understudy Caoimhin Kelleher and Vitezslav Jaros as back up for Adrian.

Odds on now Alisson is out for months.

Whats interesting is the achilles doesn't mean you can't walk on it. So it can't be ruled out. Lets see. If it's the achilles, for a goalkeeper thats a massive injury.
