I'd argue that, that Michael Edwards is the stand out negotiator in the league.

He's absolutely outstanding at getting great deals for his "assets", the Coutinho one, having the clause that Barcelona would have to pay a premium, and the other things like Brad Smith, Ibe, Solanke etc... he's just very good, unfortunately.

Mané and Salah go for near £100m this year if they want to sell.

Not a bad seller, but a poor buyer in my opinion.

I feel a bit rotten typing this, but Bluemoon is almost as one-eyed and smug as RAWK these days - and in general the City fans I’ve encountered down the years are pretty sound.

Trust me Bluemoon is is no way representative of the average City fan. Nowhere near it.
It has a hundred or so regular posters (tops) out of a local fan base of circa 60,000.
It is just an echo chamber. I wouldn't say it is as bad as RAWK but I know where you are

This is what gets me the most, it’s one thing to defend your own club’s players, fair enough, but they genuinely get so warped and out of shape by pretty much any footballer who doesn’t play for them doing well. Fernandes, Kane, Foden, Dias, James, they have such an odd dislike for them whenever they receive the smallest amount of praise.

Don’t see anyone buying Salah for over 60 and Mane been terrible this season be luck to get 30, no one has any money.
PSG where talking about a new contract for Mbappe and there no way they replace a 23/24(duno how old mbappe is) for a 30 year old Salah. More likely go for Haaland

This is the reason why I don't look at another team's forum. They're bound to be completely one sided. The only difference with Everton of course is we all mostly despair of Everton for the main part except for the brief interludes of hope that slip in between the cracks. One day we may become smug too if we actually make the step up - we might be smug now, but we do agree we stink with visitors.

Obviously we are not rubbish by any stretch of the imagination. We're actually quite good but to make that jump up into the next category of clubs who can potentially win stuff, we need a few extra players and existing better ones to stay fitter and remain available for more fixtures and it might be within grasp. Hugely frustrating and I can understand that faction going into bedwetting mode, but it is what it is.
