It's still a great deal, but gives a slightly different sheen to it.

As for their young players, the reality is, once agents fees and loyalty payments are made to the players involved, they make abut a quarter of whats reported. Our bias media don't report that though, as it doesn't make a good story.

And I don't slaghter Edwards either. He is an interesting, intelligent and thoughtful operator, but before Klopp arrived was valued about as hihhly as we valued Walsh.

I don’t actually rate Edwards that much. He just gave Klopp a blank chequebook to buy what he thought were the best in the world in two positions and then gave him the best part of 200 million to spend everywhere else. Now that he’s done that though there’s been no thought about continuity or youth development. It’s just Klopp again calling for more massive spending.

But apparently Edwards and Klopp have never made a bad buy. There’s close to 200 million pounds worth of players there (and Godfrey knows how much in wages) contributing/contributed virtually nothing.

The operators (owner and mods) turned against Mancini (some say on request of the PR people at the club)
to discredit him with the fans before they sacked him). To a very lot of Blues Mancini was and will always be a
cult figure and hero at City. It all kicked off and about 6 or 7 of us got perma banned. After that a lot of the
old school, diehards drifted off and the forum lost it soul. I sometimes lurk on there and have a look and to be
honest it's a pretty boring forum nowadays.
