ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Chelsea will need pretty much one win if Liverpool fail to win tonight. IMO United will roast these - they are a team set up to batter Liverpool's appalling defence.

It effectively ends tonight...but they still cant give up the chase, and will end up securing a EL spot.

Burnley will destroy them.

Dyche hates him and will have his lot eyeballs out looking of a result.

This is the Liverpool rubbish that's stunk the season out.

Burnley will rag them all over Turf Moor.

What's fundamentally changed? They'll slip up against Palace.

@davek for the love of God never ever do this again.

Liverpiool securing CL footy with that lot. Now I'm not polishing a turd when I say this: that qualification this season with those players will cemet them in place and stop the rebuilding they really are in need of if they want to compete for the major trophies.

Liverpool will now extend contracts to a lot of players who are coming to the end of their career / end of their development. And they wont be spending massive on new players. That's just not how FSG roll.

Doldrums for this lot for a few years.

Honest lad if you don't start saying the exact opposite I'm gonna find you and unleash combos I haven't used since I was 14. You're as culpable for this as anyone.

lol lol lol

Bottom line: they won as much as we did...and next season they'll do the same.

Take a look at the state of that club.

What makes this even more laughable is that their academy CB's turned into prime Puyol and Pique this season.
I think it’s due to two things. 1.great coach who gives them belief. 2.the club has a very positive attitude so there isn’t the same fear that exists at other clubs, especially here for instance.

Rhys Williams and Nat Philips in an Everton backline concede for fun.

Moving Fabinho back into midfield also was a factor as he mopped up everything in front of them.

The key moment was the bleedin goalkeeper scoring. That doesn’t go in then Leicester were in the box seat (although they may well have imploded as they did today).

If they missed out this year they were screwed for years. Ageing team and screwed finances to replace them. Klopp will have a bit of money to spend now and the CL money eases the hit of the pandemic a bit.

This!

They will have no excuses for next year but I feel financial bonuses of Champions League would've hurt them more because no crap clubs start bidding £20m for their subs in the summer.

Kane transfers to City/Chelsea/United will only strengthen those clubs. Financially RS aren't as good as they seem and they are about to see.
