They are an exceptional side but ultimately the great sides are measured on winning the domestic title and the CL. If they fail against RM next week then they have not one of the big trophies for 2 seasons. Next season could be there last shot for a couple of years as they will enter a transition phase where the spine of their team is getting old.

The way the media fawn about them is as though they are Comparable to the great European teams like Pep’s. neither Liverpool or City are on the same planet
