Right I have seen a lot of reports this morning and considering that a good few of these were not your Holt's, James Pearce, or the RS clan but other journos from Midlands, Chelsea, Manchester and general football journos. Im actually believing UEFA and the French police were shocking.

No im not excusing the minority of Liverpool fans who are bells but a lot of them reports of jumping over walls to 'get into the stadium' were people who had got past the first checkpoint but were still bottlenecked.

what we never see in these clips is what precipitated the plods action, we don't see the bottle throwing or fights breaking out or whatever. This isn't a banana republic we are dealing with, they will be answerable for their actions and something will have caused the bizzies to do that, we just haven't seen it. As others have mentioned, it is possible to sit and not get caught up in this action

I'm guessing as with all public areas nowadays it will be covered by CCTV which will emerge in the coming days. Wonder who they'll try to blame then.

A right back who has reinvented the fullback role and throw ins

The best one on on defender in Europe (as of sky match reports this morning)

The best left back in Europe

The best holding midfielder in the world

The best midfielder in the world who passes the ball differently to anyone else so much so it makes a different sound coming off his foot

Captain fantastic, if only Southgate had played him more England would win everything

Dias the best new signing of all time, would be the best forward in the world if it wasn’t for the other two forwards

Mane, the second best forward in the world having an amazing season so maybe he’s the best now, why has he not won the ballon d’or?

I just can’t get my head around how such a collection of players haven’t won everything

Also what’s this utter myth that that lot have started pedalling that they got robbed in 2018 and were the better team but unlucky? I must have imagined Modric and Kroos absolutely schooling Liverpool all game that night as Henderson and Milner ran after them barely getting a kick. They really can reinvent anything given long enough.

Just have to hope they don’t get a good fee. He’s in his final year so clubs must know they can take him for nothing from January. He’ll want mega wages as well so hopefully Bayern low ball them and use the player wanting out to get him at a snip.

The hilarious thing will be that replacements in Dias Carvalho and Elliot have already been signed but Liverpool fans will expect some galactico signing to make up for him going and it won’t be there.
