ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

Then you're bitterness knows no bounds.

Liverpool must take responsibility for organising travel etc - that could have been done. However, it's also on UEFA. And then as soon as those fans got to the ground, there would have been the same issue, their safety was in the hands of the police and UEFA.
Was it on UEFA that the Real Madrid, Rangers, Eintracht, Roma and Feyenoord fans all got inside the stadium on time for the recent matches?.

Are you expecting them to have a different rule because Liverpool had 1000's of extra fans trying to enter with fakes or no ticket at all. Who then denied a lot of their own fans access.

No, listen to the very reputable journalists who were there, and ask yourself, do you think 40,000 people turned up to the stadium with fake tickets? They've also said 70% of the capacity tried to use fake tickets - which would have meant 175,000 people turned up.

That doesn't add up.
Help me out please, can you give me a few tips on how to find reputable journalists? Because I will be honest (admittedly I am a bit biased) I view most of the associated press in a very bad light.

I’m not on here to defend kopites but if 40000 had been turned away from the ground because they’d bought fake tickets we’d be hearing a bit more about it from them wouldn’t we? Not like they don’t like to whinge.
They more than likely would not know their ticket is fake.

I don't expect that a bunch of fans have gone over there with a piece of card cut out from a cereal box that says "Tikket" on.

The dodgy tickets and poor management of legitimate tickets is a whole other argument.

Why on earth would "local Parisians" bunk in? Why do they never bunk in to anything else?

I am all for going easy on that lot but not at the expense of some incredibly sloppy "lets blame the French" stuff. It's nauseating.
Some probably did. But it is clear from that clips that were on Twitter that reds did it as well. Unless locals in Paris wear LFC shirts?

Maybe some were Liverpool fans as in I don't know, a lad from Saint-Denis might support Liverpool?

They have been reported to be local youths who jumped the fence into the stadium, which is what started the tear gassing.
Mate, I've seen people bunk in at Goodison. A few when we've been to Wembley. Granted it's been the odd one or two but it happens. Blue tinted glasses off. It happens everywhere.

The problem I have with the (British media) reporting of this is that it absolves RS fans of any blame whatsoever. There isn't even a critical debate. It's as if none of their fans did anything wrong. It wasn't them. It was local youths.

Granted some local youths could have bunked in but so would a fair few RS. There didn't seem to be the same issues with the Madrid fans.

I still think the Police were far too heavy handed. But the RS had their part to play.

I wonder if Klopp will shoulder some of the blame for encouraging fans to go over without tickets as well

How does a 30 year old player be more expensive than when they bought him? They paid 32m for him and they literally all their money back?

Why does every club bend over for Liverpool on transfers ffs
He is a better player now, than he was when he was bought. The market has changed.
He knows the recipe for klopp juice.

Loads will have been scammed and loads will have known as there was at least one Twitter account advertising blag tickets.

That’s my point- if 40000 people who thought they had legit tickets had found out they were fakes at the turnstiles the social media complaints about it would be deafening. The idea that 40000 people were turned away at the turnstiles is obviously complete nonsense.
