ECHO Comment: "Fears of Witch-hunt Against Liverpool FC" part 3

weird cult,
iv seen u2 and springsteen at the etihad, nobody expected renditions of bluemoon!
Comments on Tw*tter from the unlovables suggesting that us Blues would be "fewwwwwmin" at the above .
I've got news for you lads , we're laughing our a*** off that you're implying that all Stones fans are kopites ?
The band were always going to come back for an encore whether you sang that dirge or not ,
I bet the majority of the crowd had never set foot inside a footy stadium before last night !
Their last song was "Sympathy for the Devil Club " ?Screenshot_20220610-082119_Chrome.webp

They’re only holding concerts at Anfield as a really poor attempt to stop BMD getting all the big concerts lol

Absolutely will not make a difference, every big band that comes through the UK will be playing BMD
...no, no, no...they'll surely want to head up to L4 and get a YNWA encore rather than stay on the world famous waterfront in a state of the art venue getting cityscape panoramic footage for their tv audiences....

If they get BMD right then the concerts will only be a small part of the revenue jigsaw. A large part of the concert money goes to the artist who’s playing and they’re expensive to put on with all the lighting and sound plus security. Money comes in through some of the ticket sales and refreshments.

If they get BMF right and link it up to the rest of the waterfront there’s no reason that fans couldn’t be drinking in the fan zones any night of the week, watching away games, work dos, virtually anything would bring revenue in without having to put on huge events. But yes, even when we did put on a big event it would be miles better than Anfield for holding it.
